I love kale but only use it in smoothies? I tried massaging but it doesn't work for me so what am I doing wrong? Hie long should I massage for? How hard/soft do I squeeze when massaging? I just feel if I can get answer to these questions it will help so much. Dying to try it as a cooked veg dish etc. I would be eating so much more of it if I knew how to get it to soften. Lentils are so good but I can't digest them. ☹ Soaking them helps a bit, but they're still awful on my digestive system. Same for almost all beans and legumes.

Iceburg lettuce is a great filler lettuce for giving body to salads and it has a great water content. Mixing it with other interesting other form of lettuce or fine herbs makes it more interesting and it as a nice crunchy bite. I think its time to stop these dated bad stigma for iceberg. For people who don’t like the bitterness of greens its a great way to integrate those bitter greens. And on hot days you get loads of water. 😉

Here everybody eats beans and rice every day (we love it)
To make beans easier, let into water all night, at morning change the water for (very, boiling) hot water for 3 times in 3 hours, after that you can cook in a normal pan for 30 min or in a pressure pan to 10 minutes. Just put the salt in the final, the salt makes the bean hard
