HOLY. CRAP. I made this for my family for dinner tonight and it is hands down the best dish I have ever made, possibly best dish I've ever eaten in my life. Sooooo delicious, it's like better than restaurant quality. Also shockingly easy to clean up after, too! THANK YOU NISHA!!!! Will be making this again very very very soon
Oh my… I’m sorry you’re so beautiful.
I am an Indian vegetarian( not vegan) and i already know a lot of Indian cooking but still I am so tempted to try this version of the red lentil. I have a good feeling about adding coconut milk to my dal the next time.
This was amazing!!! I just tried it tonight and everyone ate it all up.
Sure it's good but sometimes people cant do this for a living/every day or get vegan stuff at work
Hands down my new favourite meal! Made this today, I didn't have all the exact ingredients but some variations of them but it was still incredibly delicious!
Can this be made with green lentils instead?
Great dish!! My picky four year old ate it like ice cream, FYI I only used one Serrano because she was eating it and it perfect for her 👍👍👍👍
Yeah this was fire.
Let’s stop using colonizing Language. Our Indian dishes aren’t all called curry. This dish is actually called Masoor Daal. Call it what it is instead of “curry” just so white folk appreciate it.
I love indian food but why they use so many spiceys in a single dish?
I want to add vegetables to this… should I do it after the spices are added?
Can you forgo the green chilli for white people who have ZERO spice palate whatsoever?
Very tasty even though I only had half the ingredients. Can't wait to make it properly.
Aaaaaa, I want to make this but what are the measurements for the ingredients she used??
Like the spices?
2:05 gets me every time
This recipe is a sin. I’ve been making it for the past three months. Fr ty <3
I made this tonight with some garlic naan and OMGosh!!! You go girl!! Delicious!!! I'm not vegan, but I have been doing meatless challenge for the past 9 days (going for 15 days). Baby steps, lol! Glad I found your channel!!
I've made this three times in 2 weeks. Delicious n healthy!!
Wow! Best Lentil Curry .
I am so full but can't stop eating😀
Just made double the amount to freeze for my sick Dad. I just added half as much coconut milk and it was still very delicious!
I just made this curry and it was delicious! Thank you! I've also made two other dishes from your channel and they were also really, really good. Love your channel, your content and your personality, please keep it up! / Greetings from Sweden
Crazy good.
I just made this for the first time tonight and it is hands down one of the best meals I've ever cooked for myself.
Your presentation, speak and camera angles are amazing. You can tell that you’ve perfected your craft. Thanks for the inspiration. I’m looking forward to be more creative with my family’s vegan meals.
I recently tried this. I used green lentils, cayenne for chili powder, lime instead of lemon, parsley instead of cilantro, and no almond butter. It is really delicious. By no means am I vegan but this was a pretty good dish. I definitely prefer meat, but this is a close substitute.
nobody has time to be doing all that
Wow, that looks incredible.
Is turmeric not in American shops? I'm from a very bland palated country in Europe, but turmeric is like, a standard ingredient in shops
Just found your channel. Very much not a vegan but would like to incorporate more plant based meals into my meal rotation. J kenji makes a black bean burger im keen to try as well! Look forward to trying this
Have some leftover green lentils in a bag but not enough for a recipe on its own. Would it be good if I added some green lentils to this recipe?
I am trying to go meat free for 15 days (first time), and this is a perfect dish for me to make for lunch at work. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic introduction meal to veganism!! Everyone should try this!!
When it's called "red lentil Curry" instead of "plantbased insert-meat-here", you know it's actually going to be good. Quality vegan dishes don't need to pretend to be something else.
Who wouldn’t want a house that smell like curry?!??? My kids do have a house that smeks like curry 😅
Hi, it's been a week since I made this curry and I just HAD to come back and say how much my partner and I loved this dish. There was so much flavor and it was so filling and affordable to make. We are so grateful. Thank you.
Vegan is to hard for me I like eggs and milk can't give them up easy to give meat up
I've just made this recipe for tomorrow and it tastes amazing!!!!! Thank you for sharing ..xxx
What's the replacement for vegetable broth
What are those bowls called at 1:19 :0 i really want them to add to the kitchen! thanks for this video 🙂 amazing as always!
The fact that you simplified the steps in such a streamlined way is genius. It tastes next level. I made a bowl for my neighbor with MS and who was struck in an accident…I think he felt great after eating this lovely soup
If you ever wondered who your look a like could be: google Colleen Fernandez 😳
I made this and it is amazing. Recommend putting avocado on top.
