Just made this for dinner and wow it was incredible. There are no words to explain just how good this was, and the recipe was easy to follow and put together. The best dish i have made in a long LONG time. My boyfriend had 4 portions !
This lasagne is delicious. Thank you for the incredible recipe. It doesn't even need noodles. The flavors are incredible. Thank you Gaz.
Never heard of it.
Would anyone know how many calories this would be?
Diolch Yn Fawr.
You are very very creative I love watching you cook you give me ideas I want to go vegan
Made this for a friend's birthday a couple days ago and it was absolutely delicious! Was even better after it sat in the fridge overnight. Having said that, for anyone looking to make this I would suggest reading the recipe and watching the video. Admittedly, this was my first time making lasagna of any kind (vegan or not), so some of the hiccups were on me, but I feel like there was some disconnect between the written and filmed versions. In any case, I think this would be great for non-vegans as well because it resembles traditional lasagna so impressively.
Very nice lasagna you have sir. My wife's vegan lasagna is amazing. Both vegan and non-vegan are amazed.
Love your show.
Idea.
1 episode of other vegan chefs show there vegan brief video montage and do a lasagna lovers show. This is the one of the main comfort foods that people love. Thank you for your show and work talent.
I'll use lots of mushrooms to replace the mince and almond or coconut milk to replace the soy. Yum!! I can't wait to try this!
Thank you for the word about recycling! I'll try this recipe on my upcoming day off. I already have a grocery list.
Poor gaz… one hint for you: Italians we just block them and ignore… always too much drama for nothing
Nice “Urban Rustic” kitchen!
Made this and it was fantastic. Even better 1-2 days later. I added 2x the cheese plus nutritional yeast.
Can I freeze? What would be the method?
It is now laying in the oven. Can't wait to get it out ☺️. If you are noob in kitchen like me, watch out when you pour the milk into the flour with butter, once a piece of onion comes out of the pot, it is gonna sprinkle all over the place 😅 pour in gently
Made this lasagna today – one of the best things I’ve ever cooked . The infused milk was a life changer !
not only is the food delicious but I love the way you present the show
I can't wait to try it. Thank you.
I made this for my whole family last week and they loved it. My husband didn’t know it was vegan and asked for leftovers the next day. I did everything the same except I added mushrooms and meatless crumbles
What is the brand and product of vegan meat in the states? Anyone that can help thanks in advance. 😍
Sometimes I come back here just to watch this masterpiece of a dish be assembled again
I just made this and it absolutely blew my mind, one of the best dishes I've made so far. I can't wait to make this again, it's ridiculously delicious!
😍😋
Could we see you clean shaven without a beard? That would be Gold!!! Is the jar Portuguese ceramic? Looks like it!
Ugg I want a lasagna that doesn't have squash, cucumber, zucchini, or eggplants or mushrooms… Is that too much to ask? 😂🤣
It's freaking me out that you put the bechamel sauce and mince in the same layer! Have I been doing it wrong my whole life by keeping them separate!!? 😅
Made this recipe..hubs & I both thought it was delish! It freezes really well too 🙂
Just come across your channel by fate, and that is the BEST Vegan lasagna I've seen! Definitely going to cook 😋
made this today and i ate the entire tray…. this recipe is nuts
I just made this. It was really delicious! The only thing I did differently which was not add the vegan cheese to the beschamel sauce, which was optional. It still turned out really yummy. The only thing is that when you serve, it indeed does not stay in shape with the layers all neatly stacked together. I don’t mind though.
I've made this twice now! The second time I made some of my own edits to the recipe (sorry gaz!) and it is EPIC. My edits in case you do want to know 🙂
– cut out balsamic vinegar ( I don't like the taste in general so i just didn't like it in the meal)
– Sizes of stuff:
– – 2 x 375 gram bags of mince,
– – whole eggplant not half
– – 5 cloves of garlic at the start, 2-3 more later (love garlic and I think here it's not as strong as in some countries)
– – 3 cans of chopped tomatoes not 2, 2 made it too dry and not tomatoey enough
– lots more salt and pepper than the first time, salt in the bechamel sauce also.
– 1 x crumbled veg stock cube into ragu
– a pinch of smoked paprika in ragu,
– and being very careful with the puree – first time I put too much and I think it tasted like pizza sauce.
– bit of butter into the ragu
– put nutritional yeast into bechamel
– cooking the ragu a lot longer – like at least 30 min after tomatoes and mince lol! First time i was in a rush…
Looks delicious! Planning on making this soon. What sort of shredded vegan cheese should I use? Cheddar, mozzarella, etc.
He is so chill. I love my meat but that recipe and his way of just cooking is so chill I actually wanna try and make it on my own. Great job man.
Got my sub bro that is an insane recipe that I cannot wait to try
bro…just did my with my girlfriend….. ready to do a tasting evening 🍷… koool!
Its just me who noticed that he added zucchini not eggplant, aubergine is purple not green. And how you gonna put it on a plate, if there is no pasta at the bottom? All vegetables from the bottom they will feel off. Usually in lasagne there is at least 3 layers of pasta.
I just made this last night; it tastes amazing!!!!!!
This guy's a gem
Wonderful video! A definite upgrade. So much technique, originality, and clear instruction.
I made it today and it's very good. 🙂 Only thing with me was that I only put half the vegan mince it said (mine was soy mince) and it was still ALOT. Maybe it depends on what kind of mince you have.
