I sometimes get triggered by letting myself eat as much peanut butter and tahini that i'll like, because one, i a'm trying to lose some fat and i feel like that's the problem..i a'm not counting calories or restricting the amount of peanut butter and tahini that i want because i remember from what i learned to what had led me to be anorexic and having a binge eating disorder. and plus i am having gut issues from what i did back then on my eating disorder days, even when i'm eating whole plant based foods.
I'm trying to lose some weight, lose some more fat and get more toned. i have been eating whole plant based foods for the past 2 years going to be 3, but those two years i was struggling with binge eating, and now i get bloated, constipated and more gut issues all the time. it is almost impossible for me to work out, especially to lose some belly fat. i took an x-ray and the doctors told me that i am only constipated, and to take a medicine to help with the constipation. of course i did not take the medicine they had subscripted for me, but i took an alternative from that one, since it has better ingredients. so is weird and frustrating most of the time, but i just recently decided to get my life back and to do better changes in my life, i'm going to really try my best with this gut problem.

1. WFPB is not a guarantee to lose weight.
The only criteria that is a guarantee is a Calorie deficit.
2. Self discipline is required to successfully lose weight.
Especially in the first month when trying to change cravings and food preferences.
An errant appetite is like an errant child, that needs to be reined in and given firm boundaries.
It takes a few weeks of resistance when applying the reins, but once the child/appetite adapts, then there is no struggle.

Not an easy pattern to follow for people with ulcerative colitis. If you eat a plate with all that fiber you risk going straight into a flare. I think that I'm one of the thousands of new cases suffering from this modern-day disease and we need help and guidance to see the light again. I'm a runner and it's incredibly frustrating to race at the best of your capabilities and then feeling your gut telling you "sorry buddy, but we're stopping here, you can barely walk between one cramp and the other".
