A plant-based diet fed to children is nothing but utter child-abuse as it leads to malnutrition and several deficiencies.
Growing children needs a lot of cholesterol and fat-soluble A, B, and D vitamins for their growing bones and brains that can only be found in and absorbed through animal-products. Especially during their first 2-3 years of life and if severly malnourished and deficient during this crucial time-period, the damage will be irreversible.
It is one thing if grown adults only want to damage themselves through this diet but please don't shove your diet down others' throats, especially not children who have no say in the matter and who might be damaged for life.

The problem is, the government sets our calcium requirements so high, then SCARES us into thinking that we HAVE to consume DAIRY to reach that daily calcium requirement, all while subsidizing the dairy industry. 🔁👌

I didn't give my children meat or dairy. They've grown into healthy adults. Now my grandchildren are being brought up in the same way. My daughter in law gives them steamed vegetables before the rest of their dinner

I'd also love to learn more about vegan pregnancy. Specifically, I'm concerned about calcium intake. It's hard to find a vegan prenatal with calcium. I've basically given up, and am hoping that I get enough calcium in my diet eating oatmeal, seeds, beans and greens daily along with berries and a variety of other whole foods. I do eat soybeans, tofu and soy milk, but it's all organic and not fortified. I eat organic as much as possible, and very little (if any) organic products are fortified.

Garlic helped me to get rid off intestinal parasites within 2-3 days when I was 6 y o . My mom let me chew it raw and drink some water before bed. Garlic probably can help protect from other kinds of parasites: microbes, etc.
