I changed from carnivore to plant based 6 months ago and it was the best decision I ever made. This just confirms my decision
why are there carbs in a carnivore diet?
Thanks for this video, but I question a few things. First, why compare an older guy's clinical numbers with a younger guy's? That doesn't make a lot of sense. To make this study more conclusive, you should compare two individuals who are similar in age and weight not a 25 yr old guy with a 55 yr old man. Their metabolisms are different, and they process foods differently with different allergies, etc.
Also, when you talked about markers going up and down, many of them remained in the normal levels, so it doesn't tell me much about which diet is better.
If a normal range for something is less an 20, and someone had a 11 score whilst vegan then went up by 16 while carnivore, you try to use that number as a argument in favor of veganism when in fact, both numbers were in the normal ranges. Keep in mind that when people do these diets, they still tend to eat bad foods. The older man that was carnivore told us his diet, and it was still bad because he had too many sugars in his diet ie..rice, pasta, stir fry etc and he did not food combine correctly.
Nut butters are not supposed to be eaten with fruits because they slow the digestion of fruits causing them to ferment in the digestive tract, so you have to take all of that into consideration. His carnivore numbers would have looked a lot better had he followed certain principles such as food combining and eating processed foods whether he's vegan or carnivore.
E began for a few months. Shit sucks. Never again
Why did insulin rise on carnivore? Would it not drop and ketones rise?
I switched to carnivore after 20 years vegan. in 3 months I've lost 75lb I'm in the best shape of my life I've been told I look 10 years younger and no longer prediabetic. My skin has color . I sleep better no restless legs syndrome . Blood pressure and cholesterol has normalised . No longer feel sluggish and fatigued all the time.
hmmm not at all biased
I switched from plant based to carnivore and I've never felt better. Dropping all of the bread and vegan pasta was probably the main reason for improvement. Both diets are exceptional, just get rid of processed foods and excess grains.
Literally none of that was my experience. I had the exact opposite. I really think this comes down to our dna. 28 days isn't enough. Cutting carbs out of every diet, should be the standard.
I found I feel much better on a carnivore diet. bloating and ibs use to plagued me on a plant base diet
Wow, lies, cherry picking, and Chase consumed too many carbs to achieve ketosis. No wonder he felt like crap the whole time, he was energy depleted because he really didn't "do" carnivore. You are a joke. Why do you keep trotting out that old lie about "recycled B12"? This is vegan myth of the utmost degree.
Why do vegans look so unhealthy, very weak and feeble looking? Their skin wrinkles much faster with an appearance of looking much older than they are
I wonder if the real issue is animal product with carb, as opposed to non animal vs animal.
My blood tests have gotten great in three years and my blood pressure is better got rid of gaut and arthritis. Carnivore lol this is bull baby. But keep on eating veggies baby.
This person had 83g of carbs on a carnivore diet? Impossible! He must’ve been having meat with sauces on it. That’s not carnivore. That’s just meat based or meat heavy diet. The sauces probably had a lot of sugar so makes sense why his energy levels were terrible.
Proud carnivore/vegan here I grease the pan with some butter throw on a nice ribeye throw a shitload of red cabbage on the plate and some avocado bobs your uncle marys your aunt.
This experiment is irrelevant. 1 month is absolutely not long enough to be fat-adapted. I am on (raw…!) carnivore diet, (I have been following it 3 years long, and the last one-half is RAW carnivore) and I feel MAGNIFICENTLY! But not only the fist month, but even the first 6 month was very, very unpleasant, for example extremely serious diarrhea… Despite of that I had no ANY sugar (carbohydrate) cravings!
The destroyed, devastated body need TIME, long, long time to recover itself somewhat, somehow. After THAT, then, yes, then it is the time when you start feel great! Then, opnly!
Of course, a poor, malnourished vegan, cannot be fat-adapted in a short one month. Especially, if he doesn't even eat ORGAN MEATS: liver, brain, kidney, testicles and so on! And drink blood. All of these RAW, mostly, if possible. Or at last preferably. Because heat destroys most of the vitamins.
And dairy products are not "member" of a real (at least, styrict…) carnivore diet. (but eggs yes).
And anyway, the vegan guy in the video seemd even in the first glance very weak… This is actually very characteristic for almost all vegans.
Let me just say this, these results are extremely rare!!!! All you have to do is just read the thousands of testimonials(including my own) form those who switched to a carnivore diet and learn how they reversed their diabetes, they reversed their inflammation not to mention other chronic health conditions. I'm not going to believe 1 study like this when there are thousands proving the exact opposite. I'll take carnivore any day over filling my body with plant toxins….I'm sure Dr Ken Berry and Dr Shawn Baker would laugh at this video……
No surprise at all. I had the same result one year after going vegan. Everything in the healthy range where as previously when I was eating tons of meat, it wasn’t. I honestly am dumbfounded how carnivores came to their conclusion, but hopefully there is something to it and it doesn’t take any lives.
why use 2 people instead of a study of 2000 people?
>Behavioral Characteristics and Self-Reported Health Status among 2029 Adults Consuming a “Carnivore Diet”
>Contrary to common expectations, adults consuming a carnivore diet experienced few adverse effects and instead reported health benefits and high satisfaction.
Look up Paul Saladino md …carnivore md , plant based is a no no
Ummmm Paul Saladino md aka carnivore md would argue this… thriving vs surviving
The vegan looks weak and sickly, the carnivore looks normal
Been carnivore for 10 years, and can run circles around these vegans in the comments at age 54.
I think meal prep is important also you can't just say I'm going to eat meat or veggies doesn't work a medium steak is better for you then well-done for example and then there's oils fats you need balance I think a better example would be balanced meals vs Vegan I eat meat but not just meat I eat fruits veggies fish if you can prove healthy balanced meals are worse then Vegan I'd be interested in looking at that data. But it probably isn't.
