Kinda wish that she had left in the milk allergy part because it's different than lactose intolerance and is a pretty good conveniencer in turning a person vegan. My allergy causes cystic acne, asthma, arthritis, and a dairy addiction that took me 2 years to fully cut dairy out of my diet. If you had really bad acne or painful acne stop eating and drinking dairy, it might help.
how to cook that is a really good channel.
If someone is concerned about extinction of species due to veganism, they should realize the extinction caused by animal industry, due the deforestation and fishing practices!
while i personally don't do dairy, i have to say i do believe ethical dairy is possible. i live on a small portugese island and have lots of farmers as neighbors. just like humans sometimes produce a surplus of breast milk, so do cows. i do not know any farmers here that don't let the calves drink first – as much as they need. and then the rest is going to humans. of course these are non or low profit or hobby farms. while dairy is certainly not a human need, i believe it's not necessarily cruel to consume it
What are your credentials? Do you have degree in area connected to this topic? If not just stf up and do something useful. Being vegan, carnivorous or solar powered do not make you scientist.
I respectfully disagree with your claims that we don't need milk in order to be healthy. As Omnivores, we humans are made to eat more than just plant matter for nutrition, we also have to consume animal matter as well for nutrition. You can eat whatever you want, but that doesn't mean that everyone else should eat like you. Eating meat and other animal matter is not immoral, in fact it is not a question of morality or immorality; eating meat and animal matter is amoral. I still like the fact that you debunk your fellow Vegans who are militant Vegans, bit when it comes to Human dietary biology I disagree with you.
Idk about anyone else but I’m still satisfied off her video. She still brought the discussion . And since she specializes in the dietitian/food science it was very well covered. And like me, I’m not very informed on the environmentalism and I’m sure she’s the same way.
"Ann didnt say the things I wanted her to say" 1 passive-aggressive tone 2 Counter attacking arguments Ann wasn't making 3 insert an eye roll everytime Ann is about to say something not provegan enough.
Even though his clip was used in Ann Reardon's ridiculous video, Alex from CosmicSkeptic does really good work.
I was vegan. You guys are nuts. Cows and chickens have been symbiotically domesticated. The huge companies are awful, but occasional meat and dairy is super healthy. Almost everything in small amounts is super healthy.
Who decided you are so unbiased that you are "better than most"? You?
Broccoli does not shrink that much with cooking.
Only at the volume that these are being consumed now. If you increase the amount of plant based consumption the environmental impact will increase. What are the numbers on this
Ann is fantastic! Thanks for your input on the video 🙂
Can vegans have honey or it's products?
Only good thing that came out of Ann Reardons video on milk was finding your channel
I hate vegan cheese, and you’re so right. Cheese isn’t necessary so vegan cheese isn’t either 😂
I love Ann, but her video was so disappointing. 😞
To be fair the creator of this reaction is VERY biased as vegan!
Honestly, just give me kale chips and I can eat even more that that🤣. Just sad that kale is so expensive😒.
Thank you! I was absolutelly looking forward for someone from a vegan prospective to react and comment. I deeply respect Ann Reardon and all her work. Which is why I'm glad that you took this opportunity and gave honest feedback with appreciation, kindness and respect for her as well. Great job! 👍 ❤
I have seriously cut back on the animal products I eat. I try to eat mostly vegan I use hemp milk now and order a case every month
I love your channel. Ironically my beef order was delivered while I was listening to the video. I was stacking my freezer with steaks and listening to a vegan podcast at the same time.
I agree her video could have been more in-depth.
I recently started drinking goats milk, mostly for flavor reasons and it makes my stomach better than when I drink cows milk.
What are your thoughts on goats milk? I'm very interested to hear what you have to say!
I really tried to watch this video but I just can't and you do need milk, no matter how much you're telling yourself you don't. I love meat and dairy, unfortunately I discovered recently that I am lactose intolerant so I had to switch to plant based "milks" and since in my country I can't buy plant based "milk" with enough calcium in it to cover my daily intake I would have to take supplements. And plant based milks are not cheaper than cows milk, at least in my country. They are up to 5 times more expensive then cows milk. There are so many studies that show that babies and children absolutely need meet for healthy grow and feeding them with only vegetables and substitutes for meat I consider child abuse. Also, if we are talking about moral aspect of being vegan, I can agree that there is some moral value in it. But! As a single mother with only one, not so big, paycheck I would have to sacrifice my daughters well being (food, clothes, education, paying bills), as well as my one, in order to save some animals because alternatives to meet in my country are very, very expensive. So, if putting our well being above well being of animals makes me immoral, I can live with that because my daughter is more important to me then any animal. And I would rather get my information from dietitian then from someone who has no expertise in the field and is very, very biased.
I guess by comparison taking animal welfare and to consideration it is more efficient to just kill the small animals that live on the land in order to grow the crops or just all together this place of them that would be more efficient because in the long run you're not killing us many animals or harming us many animals there's no such thing as cruelty free farming but less cruel
