Start each meal with fruit, salad and soup. Non starchy veggies
50/50 plate.- non starchy veggies and starchy veggies.
Visually equal.
Reduce salt and sugar
Eliminate all
Nuts, seeds and nut butters
Eliminate any added oil
Eliminate any higher calorie dense foods. No breads.
Don’t drink your calories. Juices/ smoothies.
Eat until comfortably full
Big portions can be eaten.
Never have to worry about overeating
Piece of fruit for a snack.
After 50/50 plate if still hungry, go for seconds.- low in calories density.
Avoid being sedentary – walk for about 20-30 mins a day.

Hi Mommy Vegan. I agree with everything you said. However, drinking a vegetable (green) smoothie is very helpful for weight loss. I make a one and a half litre veggie smoothie every morning with just veggies, ( kale or spinach, carrots, bell peppers, beetroot, ginger, tomato, broccoli), which is very low calorie. It takes me all day to drink it. Just DO NOT add any sweet fruit to make it tasty. Fruit should be eaten and not drunk.

You are right about eating more veggies . I was one of them that just went in really hard with potatoes and really not much veggies I felt really bloated and fat and felt like I wasn't losing very much weight.
I have a question for you I know we have to drink a lots of water but I really do enjoy drinking carbonated water is that bad??

I am in the middle of trying the maximum weightloss but am finding it very hard to stay full for more than 1-2 hours. I can eat until I need to be rolled into the next room and bam 1-2 hours later it is like I have never eaten before. I have been vegan for 10+ years now and started at 405 got down to 285 in a little over 2 years and since then I cannot get the last 60-80 pounds off. It is driving me insane, in late February I did potatoes only for lent and lost a good amount of weight (15 pounds or so), then started eating starch solution and gained the weight back. I had my ankle replaced in April but normally ride my bike 120-250 miles a week because I hate driving and live in an urban area so I cannot believe I have had this hard of a time losing the pounds. If anyone has any input I am willing to read it.

I was 310 on aug 23rd of 2019. Im 157 today. This was all done through dieting. I am working on a documentary about this currently as I made sure to get it all as I lost.
I did it in less than a year but am maintaining it directly due to this way of eating.
Rule 1. This isnt a "diet", this IS your new way of eating. Do it correctly and don't starve yourself. Dieting is short term, changing your way of eating can change the entire way you think of food.
I really hope what I have can help others. It would be great and the biggest reward possible knowing I helped someone's life.
I use marmite here in England on jacket potatoes. Are Tomatoes ok ?, or is that a limited thing being a fruit ? x
