If you’re craving sugary foods, try eating sweet fruits. Personally I go to honeycrisp apples or blueberries. Or if you’re craving something else, think about what you like about that food. For example, if you’re craving chips, you could put down crunchy. And then find a healthy food that’s crunchy. Like celery. Hope this helps!

What also seems helpfull (dealing with cravings) is living according to the proverb:
eat breakfast like a king, lunch as a prince and dinner like a pauper.
Metabolism seems much more comfortable when fed in the morning instead of the later hours of the day 🙂

If you happen to eat much ready-made and sweetened stuff during your day you might be eating low protein for longer times. Eating whole meal grains and beans /lentils etc will also give you a lot of proteins wich in turn will help suppress your hunger. 🙂

For me personally, I don't think transitioning with vegan alternatives right away helps because if you immediately go from animal based products to the vegan alternative it can be quite off-putting because they dont taste exactly like the "real" version and dont really satisfy those cravings. I quit animal products cold turkey and after a few months I slowly introduced vegan alternatives to my diet. By that point the food was actually really satisfying because I had forgotten exactly what the non vegan version tasted like and the vegan version tasted close enough to satisfy my cravings. Obviously my method won't work for everybody because no one is exactly the same, but it definitely made the transition easier for me 🙂

I already do pretty much all of the things that you recommend, but I always have cravings for non-vegan chocolate and normal crisps. I also get hungry REALLY quickly even after eating a big meal. How can I deal with this? 🙁

Dont stuff your faces with bread/gluten thats bad for you as well. Fruit and veg snacks the best 🍎

I really missed having pancakes, since for the last few months I've been living on fruits, rice and potatoes, mostly cause I lacked a non-stick pan but I got one now. But my favorite way to make pancakes was to add cheese slices, so I got me some Gary today and tomorow I'll have coconut cheese pancakes.
