I wonder if he considers beauty pageants to be a sport, as they seem as sportly as body building to me.
i am also born vegetarian like him. i am not vegan but its plants based

Great job Forrest, all the best!
I see nearly all your Youtube videos Chef AJ. I appreciate 95 % from them π, they have been great in my WFPB journey when loosing >50 kg (>110 pounds), regained my health and reduced my numbers of medicins from seven (7) to zero (0) π. WHAT SO EVER, I don't think that consuming that much protein like todays guest is any good for a persons healthspan or lifespan. I think that Dr McDougall is pretty clear about that. Just watch his new two parts lesson regarding protein. Even Professor Longo and Dr Greger recommends against consuming that much protein even plant protein that is!!
Transition from flesh > vegetarian > vegan: I was vegetarian since 1970 and vegan since 1981. Back then, there were minimal substitutions; now they are abundant depending upon where someone lives. For example, near a Trader Joe's is fantastic. Transitions can be very different and much faster now when considering health, environment, spiritual and animal ethics. Best advice: go whole-food plant-based most of the time; allow some vegan junk foods only when you go out to socialize. Naturally, that strategy would change if socializing is the norm.
Thank you chef. This man is very handsome and smart!
@abjkl Keep the quality of your nutrition is high (greens, potatoes, legumes, whole grains, a few seeds like chia) and by simply eating more greens, you'll lose weight and get LOTS of protein. You'll get more than you need, actually, by quite a wise margin, if you're eating lots of steamed greens and legumes. There is absolutely no reason to count macronutrients, if you understand the fundamental nature of the food you're eating.
I so have a big smile on my face when I encounter the younger generation of vegan personal fitness trainers who are spreading the word and carrying on with living a whole foods plant based lifestyle and showing, yes, we get plenty of protein and his guns are proof. It's not just about the cosmetics; it's about the knowledge. Forest's answers to the Q & A proved to me he knows his stuff! Great interview, Chef AJ and Forest Nash!πππͺ
