Another point about cardio is it actually speeds up your metabolism so not only will you directly burn calories when you do it but you will indirectly burn more calories overall when consistently doing cardio.

I know your not really a fan of cooking the beans yourself but could you cook soybeans from a dried bean instead of buying tofu? Or do they taste gross?

You eat about 200g uncooked lentils, so about 400g of cooked lentils for dinner? That seems like a lot.

Why would I want to AVOID calories on a vegan diet? I’m a vegan. I need as many calories I can get so I don’t waste away. 😂😭

thank you so much for this! answered all my questions. I'm doing my first bikini fitness comp and i don't like eating animal based proteins in every meal. I grew up vegetarian so meat is pretty foreign to me. My coach gives me my daily macros but i was wondering just this. The carb overloads and she couldn't really help me out so much.

I respect you for bringing up this issue because it is for sure the biggest issue in being vegan.

but your solution is eating/drinkng processed vegan protein supplemention and doing more cardio.

Or the other option is eating a small amount of meat, fish and eggs.

Processed food gets so much bad attention but all of the sudden when your vegan that all gets fogotten.

Successfully employing the higher protein and fat meal in a deficit – I consider this a bit of an advanced strategy – and I would consider implementing this a few days a week rather than 7 days a week if you are new to it

I have been doing this for over half a year (i didnt restrict crazy, but i am very short and i gain weight if i consume over 1600 kcal). What has helped me were also: making tofu scramble, tofu spread (if you blend tofu with spices, nutritional yeast and citrus fruits, you get a delicious bread spread), putting soy flakes, seeds or tofu into smoothies (i hate the taste of vegan protein powder). Also spreads out of beans and soups that use beans for thickness and creaminess. The exanples i gave with soy and tofu are mainly there, because normal tofu texture gets boring to me and its great for making tons of different foods out of it

Tag along carbs are really an issue when trying to go for high vegan protein intake. On your video about soy, you recommend something between 50 to 200g of soy per day, but I've noticed that here you're using 396g tofu, which according to the other video, one would "might start seeing some impact".
