The Potts Point fine diner unites with the Barossa Valley winery for a five-course vegan feast paired with vegan wines.
Potts Point diner Yellow – known for its fine-dining take on plant-based food – is teaming up with Barossa Valley winery Yalumba for a vegan feast paired with matching vegan vino. Guests will dine on five courses, plus snacks, matched with six wines from its vegan range.
Expect a wintery dish of Jerusalem artichoke with hazelnut and truffle to be paired with a grenache, and plum-glazed beetroot with black rice and horseradish matched with a 2016 shiraz. For dessert, a vegan quince truffle will be paired with Yalumba’s botrytis viognier.
Jessica Hill-Smith, whose father is the fifth-generation winemaker steering Yalumba, will be on hand to introduce each wine.
There are two staggered sittings: at 6pm, 6.15pm and 6.30pm; and 8pm, 8.15pm and 8.30pm.
