If you choose to use salt that doesn't have iodine added, make sure that you supplement that elsewhere. Iodine is vital to the function of the thyroid. Eating sea vegetables regularly is normally enough.

IF I could give this a love, rather than a like, I would. As a passionate home cook, this quick refreshing course was full of new perspectives that'll make every attempt at a meal a more successful one. Thanks so much for producing 🥂

the video is really great, but if you use the zest, you should put the fruit 10 min in 2 cups of water with a teaspoon of soda or baking powder, that the pesticids go away. Or you buy organic lemon.

I'm not remotely vegan and I think farmer's markets and "buying local" don't work for people like me who live on slave wages. But these are generally great hints. Plus I like the hallucinogenic gag.

I just discovered your channel by pure coincidence, and it's the first video of yours I ever watch. You combined experience, science, common sense, psychology and culture in one educational video, not to mention how serene you sound. Many thanks.

A chef once recommended me to heat your oils and spices in the pan slightly until the aromas came out before you added any other ingredients – totally levelled up my stir fries, curries and fajitas!

Haha love the tip about acid (the tip itself is good – I'd love anything that has both salt and lemon in it -, but I especially liked the joke)

Table salt is the only one that has added iodine so unless you want a reoccurrence of cretins, I would keep adding in your regular iodine added table salt to meal planning.
