I'm a dancer and have taught a lot of fitness over the years in "unconventional" ways based on dance and yoga and have always steered clear of specific interval rest times and weights (ew). But how you put all the info was so beautiful and simple and has definitely inspired me to pick up a dumbbell and get my timer out. Really well-put
Should I still eat 2100 calories if I'm only 5 feet tall and only burn about 1700 calories on an average day of being active and going to the gym??
Hey Matt I'm vegan and eat lots!!! I am always satiated after my meals and physically feel as though I can't eat anymore. I usually eat between 1200-1500 calories a day (my bmi is 1552). You recommend eating 2100 calories a day and I was just wondering if it is bad that I don't eat this much? Thanks

I loved the advice on how to lift slow (and count). I do it like it's a race, and I think I have done it that way because of the DVD workouts I've done over the years (always trying to keep up to their pace). It will be hard to retrain myself your way because I'm now comfortable with "momentum," but I know yours is the right instruction. Cheers for the help! ππΌπ

Loved this video I found it really helpful π but are you able to make a video on your understanding of the importance of a calorie deficit in losing fat, particularly in relation to HCLF foods and how that ties in with building muscle ie. does the process of building muscle negate the need for a calorie deficit for losing fat?? there's just one thing that confused me when you showed the 2kg body fat to show how much 2kg of muscle you gained. I thought muscle mass is smaller in volume compared to the same amount of fat mass?
