I was already thinking of walking down the street to get veggie fried rice from the Chinese restaurant. The rice at the end sealed it! 🤣 Will go get take-out and come back to watch Day 2!
I think these challenges are waaaay harder than it would usually be bc there are no backup ingredients that would normally be there in the fridge/pantry etc. So if you're thinking eating this way would cost you 50 bucks, it most likely wouldn't. I eat for 40 bucks or less each week (I'm excluding energy drinks and alcohol) and I'm vegan. And tbh it's p easy
As vegan : i confirm all you Saïd 🙏🏻 thanks for all thèse idéas 😜
Welcome to 2022, where you life like that same king for 3 times the price. 😑
You R such a Wizard in the Kitchen. You Inspire me 🙂
where is josh?
here after watching Seaspiracy and now want to go vegan/vegetarian 🙋🏻♀️
Never buy canned legumes (beans, chickpeas etc), only dried: much more cheaper and tastier.
It depends on what country you live in
Every time I see something like this I'm appalled at how expensive food is in the States – my (predominantly vegan) food shop is £20-25 ($28-35) a week and I have no idea how I'd even eat $50 worth unless it was all ready meals.
Loving the video though!
dude I am not vegan but I am just baking chocolate cakes with zucchini super often, because it´s yummi as hell 😀
Vegan king!!!!! 👍👍👍
I eat honey, because i don't see why eating honey as a vegan is bad, your not killing the bee's or leaving them without food.because you don't take all the honey.
At start: I wonder if these will be nut free! I hope so, I really wanna go mostly-vegan but everything is just nuts, nuts, almond milk, walnut paste, peanut butter… amongst other allergens. Looking forward to this!
Yes to Whole Foods plant based agreed on that.
The fish have micro plastics, Mercury, pcbs, viruses, parasites. Like health is no excuse because it isn’t healthy! Eggs can’t even be marked down as healthy by law!! It’s filled with bad cholesterol all these animal products when heart disease is the number 1 killer in the world for humans. As someone who works in the health care field seeing it first hand eating eating animal ass corpses and their secretions will not help anyone. Period.
How can you say you feel great eating mostly vegan and the same time that animal products are for your health?! What do you think they’re feeding those animals? Plants, but then they add antibiotics, injections, hormones, cortisol will all come back to you.
It's crazy for me to hear "it's gonna be hard to get veggies with 50$ a week". I'm a vegan college student with a 20€/week budget and I'm doing OK. Like how expensive are veggies in the US/NYC ??!
For me it's not the cheapest but if I go to the weekly farmer's market it cost way less, I can very easily find low priced seasonal veggies for my meal prep
Want to learn how to make a looot of vegetarian food than learn to cook some Punjabi food. We have a lot of variety of pulses, vegtables, and spices. You wont get bored
Wow food is expensive where you live… props
List of Vegan Kings:
Martin Luther King
Why so much hate for plant-based meats if you are still going to eat tofu??
Um .. where's the rest of it?
You can't just have a couple of muffins for breakfast and then carbs with white rice and call it a day.
Where's the protein?
Where are the lentils that are cheap and great for you?
So what's the story with the Carnivore diet? Seems to be everywhere.
Could really do without the cursing…… pity this could have been a nice channel.
Like a plant based king. You still cause major suffering bro.No hate intended .
It's not that we can't eat animal products, we don't want to, because is unnecessary and bad for multiple lifes
It's not that you can't eat animal products it's that you don't want to.
As a vegan who lives on $25 worth of groceries a week, you can definitely do day one with way less money. Get different brands, buy oats, rice & dried beans in bulk and keep it in your pantry. Shop at asian and indian grocery store for cheaper veggies, tofu and spices. Don’t be afraid to buy frozen veggies if they are ones that don’t get soggy. It’s super possible to go vegan and eat well for less than $50 a week
so plz adopt me 🤷♂️
Why aren't we talking about the hot food going straight into a plastic storage container
Seriously, you're using a butane grill while INDOORS?! Wtf man
Veganism isn't just diet. If you aren't vegan for any of the non-selfish reasons. Then you're on a plant-based diet.
This is like being vegan in a third world country
Cocoa powder will be cheaper and healthier than chocolate. Cacao powder would be even healthier but not cheap.
Live like a vegan king… nutrient deficient and with accelerated aging.
this really proves that being vegan isn’t expensive! I say this to all my friends and I pretty much live off all the ingredients in this video
Love your videos dude, it's nice seeing someone in a normal sized kitchen make videos. I've just started fermenting some sriracha sauce and kimchi from your other video. Will take on this vegan week soon!
The background music is so annoying!
So the reason why meats and animal products make you feel bad is….
They arent fresh.
Red meats are "aged", or allowed to slow rot, a month or more before butchering. Most Cheese is rotten milk aged for sometimes years. 1 day cheeses feels better. Chicken and fish rots fast, nuff said.
That is why fresh vegan diet seems healthier, its because its hard to source fresh protein.
>veganism
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
OMFG
I appreciate this video is old, and it was pre covid, but i just cant stand the fact how you touched these cabbages in the shop and took only 1 – it is extremely unhygenic and the thought that there are people there who arent neccesary clean touch food without any gloves in the shop makes me sick! Please try to be more thoughtful in the future, as we all want our food fresh and clean!
More vegan content!!
I’m 4 years late to the party, but I would add pumpkin to those muffins 😍
50$ a week??? That's almost what I spend per month 🤦♀️
By eating slave food. Oh the irony.
You look like Andrew Garfield 👌
