Just found your channel and subscribed after the first video. This is the second I've watched and am very impressed. Just a personal opinion though… I really liked the old kitchen/set MUCH better; this one is way too cold and sterile.
I made the pasta for my family a few months back and they all loved it. Some of them are extremely picky and some are young kids. But even they ate it. Only thing different I did was add some shrimp. But I have made this a few time already and it’s really good and so easy.
I will preface this by saying: It is not an argument against cherry tomatoes. I have used them in cooking, though not directly in making a sauce, and they are delicious. But … I used to make very well-received pasta dishes that were super quick by using chopped, unpeeled, unseeded Roma tomatoes and whatever else I felt like, usually just in a large skillet with a little oil, and it all cooked down into a lovely sauce pretty quick on a higher heat. I usually used onions, green onions, garlic, spices, mushrooms, diced eggplant, sometimes meat, bell peppers, and sometimes i used things like spinach, collard greens, or such as that. And, I usually cooked the pasta directly in the sauce, just adding extra water. Truthfully, it took closer to 20 minutes, but I am not a fast chopper. I did find if I chopped the tomatoes the night before and liberally sprinkled them with spices and lime or lemon juice (which I often have used in pasta dishes0 then it has a stronger taste and takes oodles less time to cook. In fact, sometimes, I would just chop all the veggies and bag them up with the spices the night before and I learned if I was using canned sauce, opening up that can, putting in the spices and keeping it in the refrigerator until the next night was also a great idea. You get much flavor in little time, if you do a little passive cooking by letting the flavors mingle before cooking. Really, I'm just rambling, based on the idea of a tomato sauce taking hours and hours. It really doesn't have to. Though, it is also a lovely option.
Contrary to popular ways of thinking, God’s last name is NOT damn! Otherwise this is an excellent video! I’m a military wife and in the first month of each move we have to cook with very few utensils until our possessions arrive from our last place of residence (as civilians would say) so I totally understand not having everything you need! Great job
Thank you for some wonderful cooking lessons all in such a short amount of time. It's a pleasure to learn from you and to watch you cook. You also instill a sense of confidence in the viewer, and I love the how you teach making wonderfully balanced and healthy meals in this video. Subscribed!!!
Lets do a live episode of the making of one of these. All of these creators need to Make food Network, think twice and just make your own cooking series? I am so excited to see you guys collaborate. It is a huge thing waiting. I think I might be the first in this conspiracy.
I made that tomato pasta tonight and it actually came out pretty good which just shows its a recipe even I can't screw up! I probably could've used more tomatoes and been less shy with the salt, but those pointers about layering the sauce consistency using the pasta water and the parmesan was gold.
Great pasta recipe!! Wow. I added ground turkey and it was so great. A little too salty since I also salted the pasta water and meat, so watch out if you do that

I was excited to watch until you used God's name in vain. Please rethink your decision to do that in the future. It's very disheartening.

Didn’t knew Bac Choi is Paksoi 🤡
All the meals look easy & yummy! 🤤 Thanks! ✅
I have an allergy to sesame, fish and nuts. Will the Thai meal be very compromised without the fish sauce and sesame oil?
i got to try that stir fry!

""Here's what we're working with now." Shows a kitchen I'd never afford without revolution.
absolutely lost it when you started calling them 'dillas. I'm now using that term.
