I made this & it was soooo good! I loved it, I had my parents try it, they didn’t like it as much as I did. I practically inhaled my first bowl of how good it was, I accidentally underseasoned it, but it was still good. I do recommend cooking your pasta first then the sauce so the sauce will heat up the pasta more after it’s done cooking. That’s just a recommendation bc it took me an hour to make this, it only took me an hour bc I’m more of a baker than a cook. So I had no idea what I was doing.
As a French, I recognize what you're doing, it's a pumpkin-flavored bechamel. The result should be very good. Instead of the mustard, I'll add hot sauce. Thank you!

I tried this sauce and it was great. Unfortunately, the pasta I made sucked! LOL This took longer than 10 minutes for me but it was still a quick and easy recipe that I'll def try again!!
After having to give up dairy due to health issues, I felt so sad that I could no longer have mac 'n' cheese, and the Daiya one made my stomach really upset. I just made this dish today and oh my goodness, I cannot thank you enough! It had all of the creaminess and comfort I remembered and I felt so much better about eating it! Thank you!
I just made this for dinner. I modified it a little by adding water to my rue , it was waaaayyy too thick and turned crumbly, and I added basil and a little sugar to the sauce. It was delicious and I will make again!! 🖤
