Great honest advice, thanks Heather!
You ran out of energy because your system isn't used to fasting. If you're used to running the body on glucose, then you'll feel that when your blood sugar drops. Running the body on ketones won't cause low energy, as it maintains blood sugar constant.
Thank you for your very sensible run-through of the various approaches to IF. I’ve never been a snacker, but your comment about getting over hungry and eating too much at dinner hit home!
As always, such great balanced wisdom! Love what you had to say!!
I fast 16-24 hours a day almost every day. Some days only 1 meal, usually 2 meals and never more than that, and that's with high carb very low fat. I have no idea why so many keto people think that eating high carb means you have to eat every 2 hours. Today, I'm only having 1 meal about 22 hours after my last one. I never feel like I run out of energy until I've fasted around 40-48 hours.
