Freeze your tofu first – let it thaw and then squeeze out liquid, then put it in the marinade – its soaks it al up and makes the tofu juicey and a nicer consistency!
Hi Hannah…I fell on your channel and have been binge watching your videos this week. I decided, because of you and your beautiful meals, to transition into a vegan lifestyle (for weight loss but most important to get healthy and eventually steer my family into a healthier plant based diet) Thank you for all your videos! I know they will keep me on track! I can’t believe how much pleasure I take into making my meals…so many vibrant colours and flavours! My quick go to meals used to be toast with butter and processed cheese…not as pretty or as tasty as a smoothie bowl and definitely not healthy! First time in my life I’ve enjoyed being on a “diet”. You’re wonderful!

And when you don’t have one, I keep hoping!!.😃😃🌺💖💐💕So Thank you very much for sharing your stories. We feel very inspired by you and your journey. We loved your comments about the cruise. Ray and I have done a few cruises in the past, before being vegan, and really resonated with your comments!.. I also want to mention something that sounds a bit odd, but I have a feeling it is worth sharing. I have been vegan for 2.5 years, so you have a lot more experience in the vegan arena then me. However, here it goes. Gluten. I always loved all gluten stuff and never had any issues with it. As a vegan, I continued to eat pasta, pizzas here and there. Not everyday as I try to eat mostly whole foods. Nevertheless, in the last 3 months, I decided to really cut down on gluten foods. Substituted for gluten free pasta, corn tortillas, buckwheat pancakes, buckwheat bases for deserts, etc. Don’t know whether it is my imagination, but I feel better, lost weight, my digestion is better and feel lighter. Even though I never felt any clear indigestion problem whilst eating gluten, now when I eat it, in moderation, I can tell the light discomfort in my stomach. So I don’t know whether the discomfort gluten related was always there and I was not sensitive enough to it, or it is that now I cut down in the gluten foods, my body became less tolerant of it. Irrespective of what my be the truth, my body has since lost weight and my digestion never felt so good!.. A long text for a small message!.. Sorry!.. Lots is Love🌺💖🌷💕💐🌷💕💐💐💕🌺💖

I made the dinner dish and changed a few things (I could not find date syrup at the store store so I used another sweetener). Added some other beans and lentils and took out the green onions and parsley (didn't have any). It was SO YUMMY! My little sibling also loved it. I made two giant bowls and now have yummy left overs for tomorrow.
I am thankful for you and your channel. It's helping me turn my life around and stay vegan.

Question: How important would you say water plays into keeping your weight down? I’m a vegan (mostly Whole Foods and lots of veggies) and I work out a good amount and and try to eat very intuitively, but I’m still 10/15 pounds overweight. I always don’t drink enough water and I wonder if upping my water game could help. Thoughts friends??

I really truly LOVE your videos, the way they’re filmed, your accent (I’m British) & the fact you have been through this weight loss journey that so many of us girls struggle with (me included) so it’s amazing to see your healthy delicious vegan recipes. I can’t rave on more about how much I love them. Ok I’ll stop now before I sound like a Loony Toons haha
