    3 Ingredients,1 minute, Easy Vegan Donuts Recipe!

    These easy vegan donuts take only 3 simple ingredients and one minute. They are dangerously simple, soft ,delicate, and delicious. These are apart of my 5 minute vegan recipe series if you want more like it checkout my list here

    🌿 FULL RECIPE🌿

    INGREDIENTS

    Yields: 2 dozen mini donuts

    1 cup flour

    1 1/2 tsp baking powder

    ¾ cups dairy free yogurt

    Glaze for Donuts :

    1 cup powdered sugar

    ¼ cups of plant based butter, melted

    – 3-4 tbsp plant based milk

    – 1 tsp Vanilla

    For Chocolate

    1 tbsp Cocoa Powder or Melted Chocolate added to glaze

    In a large bowl mix together flour, baking powder and yogurt.

    Mix to combine. The dough should be thick and sticky. If it is too dry add in 1 tbsp of plant based milk at a time.

    Next, grease a plastic bag or piping tool and add dough.

    Add oil to a skillet set to medium high heat (350’)

    Drop about a 1/2- tablespoon of the batter into the hot oil. Initially the dough will float to the bottom, once the baking powder activates they will float to the top and you can stir gently with a spoon to make sure they are evenly browned.

    Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

    Lay out a plate lined with paper towels to soak up excess oil while preparing coating.

    For Frosted Donuts

    Simply roll in sugar and enjoy.

    For Glazed Donuts

    Add powdered sugar, vanilla, melted vegan butter and dairy free milk to a small bowl and mix to combine.

    Carefully dip in glaze and enjoy.

    For Chocolate Donuts

    Add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, melted vegan butter and dairy free milk to a small bowl and mix to combine.

    Carefully dip in glaze and enjoy.

    Pro Tips:

    **Yogurt can be substituted for ½ cup of dairy free milk.

    **If you prefer baked donuts simply add ½ cup extra flour and bake a 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes.

    **For a crunch outer chocolate shell simply melt semi sweet baker's chocolate, dip and allow to cool and harden for 5 minutes in the fridge.

    Great recipe. I love all the glazes and toppings. I must say though, as a person, who some may argue, has a food addiction or sugar addiction, I am watching this like a sci fi show : It might happen sometime in the future, but right now it ain't happening in my kitchen……I would just eat all of them. I am working on control. Until then, no donuts allowed.
