Cak’d is not an ordinary kind of cookie dough, it’s vegan, which means no dairy products are used. But, the owner, Maria Trupiano, could have fooled David Dorsey.
“We have a Cak’d dough bar. And people don’t know what Cak’d dough is, that’s because I invented it,” Trupiano said. “I’ve had people tell me it’s smooth like gelato. But it has similarities to cookie dough.”
