Lettuce taco-bout how GOOOOOOD this meal is!!
i always think of smelly sweat locker or dirty socks using cumin. i use it. but it gives me that smell. all that aside omg looks delishhh
So funny yes i call both a spatula. But when asking the kiddos to hand me one i say. The whipper outer Spatula or The Flipper Spatula .lol
Oh wow what a throw back. I miss freestyle Fridays
Dude…OMG I'm just now going vegan and I'm completely in love with your recipes because I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START…thank you both sooooo very much!!! I couldn't stand how non vegan food was making me feel afterwards…bloated, fatigued…holyyyy crap…such a huge difference. Again, thank you for sharing..
I just made your taco meat. Incredible and easy. Thank you for your videos.
Have you ever tried spelt flour in your pancakes.
That's fantastic. I will try it soon ! Thank you
Looks good!!!
your spatula is called "slickepot" in sweden becouse it helps you lick the pot clean. it would be so fun to hear you rename it =)
One is a turner the other a rubber scraper. A spatula looks like a knife with smooth sides, no blade.
In Iowa we call the rubber one a 'cheater'. This is because it cheats the person who licks the bowl. It doesn't leave anything to lick.
binge watching your videos. Thank you
Can u meatloaf this? Would it hold form, you think?
Thank you so much for the recipe! AMAZING!
agree spatula and flipper
One is a spatula, the other is a turner.
Ah I love freestyle Friday so much! Hope they come back! You guys are the reason I went vegan 🌱 THANK YOU xxx
I love you guys! 🥰
Eamon's mess-up's are the best
We made this last night, it's freaking delish! I have made several of your recipes and the hubs is always so impressed!!!
Just now seeing this. Not vegan but thinking of doing 2-3 meatless days a week. This looks delish! Only change I'd make is add some garlic powder to the meat. 😉 Also…if needing to use whole can of refries, then just delete the 1 can of blended lentils.
Me and my wife follow you guys in your adventures, we love your energy, you are very entertaining, she made this meal and it tasted great, just hard to hold together with the lettuce, my wife wanted to know what kind of kitchen knives you use in the van
For those who made this recipe, do you put the spices even if you use the "meat" in lasagna for example? Cumin and oregano seems weird in a lasagna but maybe im wrong
Eamon and Bec… whats makes Vegan Mayo Vegan? and my question is this couldn't you make Vegan Mayo with an Egg and Oil? and a Blending Stick?
Both are spatulas! One is a scraper….and one is a flipper!
This sounds like a perfect swap for all kind of loose meats? I'm familiar with lentils so I fully intend to try it!! How do you think sunflower kernels will work here instead of walnuts? I always have them around but nuts are pretty exp.
You might be able to season this recipe like breakfast sausage and use it for biscuits and gravy which is very comforting in cooler weather. You can season it for sloppy joes. You can season it with BBQ sauce. And you could add aromatics to it…onion, garlic, celery, peppers?? And anytime I do a ground meat I usually end up wrapping it in a tortilla even if its not a taco.
My fav easy way to do tacos is to season the meat heavy on the chili powder, cumin, cilantro, onion powder, and garlic powder..? essentially my own taco seasoning (and often I make it in big batches for tacos)…then dress it with shredded raw cabbage, that is naked coleslaw. It is so flavorful this way that you don't need cheese or any other toppings so as a minimalist cook I appreciated that. Maybe you will too. I'm really excited to try the lentil meat.
Have you done black bean burgers? Or black bean brownies?
🤤
That looks BEAUTIFUL…. and of course YUMMY 😋
Awesome video! I'm trying to get healthy and these recipes are great!
I call them both a spatula… I call one a rubber spatula.
Thank you so much for all your videos I love the food wants to I love your blogs and especially your Freestyle Friday recipes because my medicine that I take for my disability really decreases my appetite so watching these videos and getting inspired to create these recipes has really helped me! and we just had our power turned off for 3 days because of fire danger so me and my daughter did Van like for 3 days we have a Ford Explorer and laid down all the back seats down hung tapestries all around and went out on an adventure just on our town and we live up in the forest mountains of California so we did Van life for 3 days and we loved it!Love how real you guys are!
Ground beef is also used in Sloppy Joe's eh! 🙂
I'll have to try this recipe out next time I make em…
I love Eamons personality. This is funny.
That looks like an Ez-Duz-It can opener!
Have you tried TVP? It gives a true meat chewy texture. I like it in my chili recipes. You could always add some to your lentil blend.
What are your spices on your fridge? Fab recipe!
You’re amazing guys. You guys inspire me
Incredible how you can make these easy yet sophisticated recipes in such a small kitchen. You make it look so easy. Great work!
Turns out they are called Turning Spatulas or flipper haha and silicon spatula 🙂 can't wait to try this recipe! Lots of options on names
I'm in love with both of you! I actually went out and purchased a Vitamix because of your Free Style Friday videos. (half price on Amazon!) I love it. Also, thanks for your Cashew Cream recipe. I make it a couple of times a month! AND….. I'm TOTALLY addicted to Fields Roast! Kisses and hugs to both of you!
I can't wait for my Chaiwala to arrive in the mail!
Looks yummy, now t make some of your recipes. Looks so good!
Becca eats!
Hailing from Portland. Hilarious on so many points, all the way down to stopping the music while you're taking a break to sip Chai Walla!
Whenever I drink chai tea, with in the hour, I throw up. Idk if I have an allergy to it or what….anyone else have this problem?
What you call a spatula is a scraper. And what you call a flipper is a spatula.
Oh my word, they look so good! Can't wait to try some, off to pester my 'chef', (aka partner)
