Can someone help me explain to my gramps that potatoes are good for you. He just thinks they are full of fat. I tell him of course they are healthy because it is a whole plant food & full of carbs. He just think they are unhealthy
@HighCarbHannah I just have a question about daily nutrients. I use cronometer daily to track the nutrients I am getting. Do you normally hit 100% of the vitamins and minerals?? I find myself eating a little extra to try and meet those requirements. I don't want to be one of those unhealthy vegans that make others scared to try veganism due to deficiencies. I started to think that maybe I don't need to meet 100% and they just might be recommendations and it might not do any harm to miss out a little on some of them.
The chocolate oatmeal isn't something I thought of. It looked amazing and would be great in the winter after playing in the snow. This is another dish my family won't realize is vegan.

Hi Hannah! Please help me: I live in a city where biking on the roads is quite hard, hilly and unsafe! I do have a stationary bike however, and was wondering if you could recommend how long(in mins), what resistance and how many times a week I should ride on it to get results similar to if I was actually riding on the road? Thank you so much, you're an inspiration. My body shape is in-between your before and after and I'm really trying to get to my goal weight!

Is the oatmeal quite bitter? I find adding cocoa powder makes it quite bitter and I struggle to eat it.
