Blk Americans can still eat the food known as soul food, as long as you moderate the intake. I live in the Bay Area now, and if y'all saw the daily intake of my Pilipino, Mexican and other Asian friends and their families, you would think African American soul food is a vegan diet. We need to stop allowing others to degrade and cause us to degrade the culture black Americans have created in this nation. I grew up in Louisiana and my daily diet of soul food included multiple vegetables and fruits, and as far as raising animal as a food source, there is a way to do it without the abuse. The dominant population in America see farming as a way to get rich, rather than as a respectable lifestyle, and the abuse has been taken to another level of disgust. My Grandfather had a 150-acre farm in Louisiana on which we raise cattle and produce, sold at the Saturday morning Farmer's markets and did it without the abuse you see on these for-profit animal prisons (factory Farms).
I'm beginning to internalize that the more unprocessed we go, the better off we're going to be. We have to be careful about how the labels are being misused and REALLY focus on what the ingredients tell us when we do go for the pre-packaged stuff.
Blessing s Forever on THAT
This was amazing! 5 years vegan and have had some doubts lately this just kept me on the path.

Somewhat decent presentation, alternative people and the mingling outside your nation being an alledged Melanated goddess which sounds about right, that being said being obedient to the Most High Yahweh we will be obedient in dietary law and dwelling with in your nation your then your also living clean.
I have eaten a vegetarian diet several times throughout the years, eventually slipping away from it. I've felt such a need to change lately. I'm tired of feeling physically tired and while I was wondering what to do, I came across this video. I must say, that just looking at the clear and beautiful skin of these people, I am inspired to do it again, and continue studying so that I know more ways to make it workable for me. Thank you so much for this wonderful documentary!
I'm inspired. Thank you 🍃. Nj-usa
I’ve been a vegan and even a raw vegan and now I eat what is probably considered paleo due to my body not being able to process grains very well anymore. The most important thing is that we need to eat whole, unprocessed foods and limited sugar. Some bodies do better with vegan or vegetarianism. My body did not.
How cute is that 8 year old baby girl speaker ?Wow I am so proud of her.
Hip Hop just want more popularity. $$$$$$$. to be seen as leaders????
and just watch…if you dont go vegan. u will be categorized as unethical💥💥💥💥
Raw veganism is Politically driven…i dint trust it
Not a vegan here, but black america is suffering in health due to processed foods(Like Impossible Foods). The lack of access to fresh food markets in urban centers is the problem.
It's ashame they had a milk commercial ad on a video promoting veganism. Especially when most black people cannot digest milk.
Gotta watch that "Impossible" product. You need to know what it's made of and how it's made. HIGHLY processed. Not good.
Not AFRICAN American, Indigenous American, get your HIS story Straight!!!
Personally I find soul food to be absolutely delicious, and vegan soul food is quite a treat. Soul food can be modified with healthier ingredients, which many African Americans do including myself. But veganism doesn't equate to a healthy diet. Quality meat is densely nutritious in vitamins and minerals. Some of those are simply not available in plants. Also, many people manage their weight better on low carb diets, which a meatless diet would be rather deficient considering vegetables are limited to only a few to keep carbs low.
Our diets are quite diverse like most other groups. This is a wonderful documentary and very reassuring! Thank you!🥰
Vegan for five years now, and all I know is that I will never go back to eating meat ever again. And I do not eat "alternatives" because it is over processed. Whole plant-based living is the only way.
Impossible burger or beyond meat isn't the same as a veggie burger
Just have raw milk and avoid the all the "vitamins" and homogenization that's killing everyone.
@52:50. Smh. Always a Karen up all in your grill lol. Also that scene with cows line up, and pigs hanging, yech. Yeah it's time to rethink some things. Great, thought provoking documentary.
I have no idea how this popped up on my timeline. I am so so so grateful to it though.
Feel bad watching this while eating wings and mild sauce.
