The notion that "veganism is white" is a widespread myth. We recently spoke to Monique Koch, the host of the award-winning Brown Vegan Podcast, about how social media helps raise awareness about plant-based diets in the Black community: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPlzsJBKKlQ
Plant based now 5 months, 54 lbs down. Haven't felt better in my life, but already going to comments like, are you okay? And, isn't plant-based a fad? Ugh!!! Haters. Great interview!!!
Glory to Almighty God after many years I finally found joy with the help of Dr. Agboya on YouTube, the great herbalist doctor helped me to cure my Herpes 2, with the herbal medicine product that I ordered. I will always be grateful to Dr. Agboya on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCL_ksbGrUL6rQ14jtaTmhIQ/videos💃
We can be addicted to anything , food is a constant in our lives so it is something we face every day if we are dealing with food addiction , it's not like we have to go looking for a score on a street corner, we need it to survive . One of the hardest addictions to deal with
He says it was an addiction which I agree, but it was an addiction facilitated by the lies and obfuscation of the truth by the manufacturers and our own governments who also see profits as a measurement of success. I eat WFPB because I enjoy the flavor. I guess I'm really addicted to good food. Some people say sweets are a treat. For me now a treat is wearing summer clothes that make me look good and not sweating like I've just run a marathon. And then I can enjoy some plant based treats. Life is good.
If someone had a page called ‘vegan white guy’, it would be racist.
Also ‘vegan mostly’ doesn’t exist. Good for you for being on a plant based diet and getting yourself healthy though. You look great and about ten years younger. But that is because you’re ‘plant based’. Not vegan. Veganism is for the animals. Being on a plant based diet is just that, a diet, for you. Not the animals. Congratulations on your success. You worked hard and deserve the results. All the best to you. ☺️
Vegan black guy – Your health transformation is inspiring. I underwent a similar evolution. Please also find a strong ethical basis to help sustain you over time as a vegan and continue to motivate you. I highly recommend the films Dominion and Seaspiracy.
May God bless you my brother. Keep up the good work. With God all things are possible. When the going get rough, lóok up. He is there for you, You will make it.
This was a great testimony a great heartfelt honest story that Cartier was so generous to share with us. His success and the improvement in his health are wonderful things and put out an amazing message that there's hope for everybody.
The only thing I would say is regarding terminology really. There's no such thing as being vegan for health. The word vegan only has to do with the animals or what Cartier referred to as"vegan for ethics". Ethics is really what veganism is about it's about the the choice not to contribute to the atrocities that humans commit against animals by the billions and trillions really if you include sea animals, each and every year. By the same token, there's no such thing as being vegan for the environment either. So the the term one would want to use would be plant-based or plants only. But vegan is only about the animals

Being plant based doesn't make someone vegan.
All vegans are plant based but not all plant based people are vegan.
I lost 64 lbs in 120 days eating meat.
Just a heart felt Thank you for sharing your story. X

This interview style comes across as an interrogation.
Great story, so inspiring!
Penn Jillette weight loss is also one of the best I like. Simple and straight. I like the way he explains how the craving for meat just faded away.
Kool. I wonder how long he will last
This is so true, love this episode 😇
This is what I needed & the story about when you’re on the path, the signs are along the way. Thank you, Sir ❤️
You look brown to me. You're either color blind or never learned the difference between black and brown. The color wheel is your friend
Wonderful interview.
whole food veganism is the biggest hack going. time restricted eating is super helpful to drop that excess weight fast. you're a great inspiration.
