    I had a discussion once with my BIL about veganism and he pointed out something I believe to be insightful.

    If you go back 200 years before refrigeration or other preserving techniques was a vegan diet possible. No, as no area of the world was capable of growing everything that a body needed. Thus people had to eat meat.
    Then you go back before farming and could a person get enough plant based material to survive on for a complete year. No, do to the seasons so people have to live on meat.

    We as a human species were meant to eat meat and lots of it.

    Carnivore will change your life (if you make sure you incorporate egg yolks or beef liver). It was wild to learn that being tired every morning isn’t normal. I used to dread getting out of bed in the morning, & now I wake up at 5 every morning with an abundance of energy. And I only need 5 hours sleep now

    I have crohns disease as well and a whole food plant base diet does it for me. Carnivore diet gave me gout and constipation. Too each their own.

    Friendly tip:
    Mold is freaking awful. Especially Stachybotrys chartarum (which is called "Black Mold" even though lots of mold appears black)…
    I have personally seen it cause repetitive violent seizures (with the person being totally conscious and aware unlike many other seizures), crazy memory issues (on par with senior dementia), and of course major breathing issues that can last MONTHS after getting out of the environment. (In several patients. Not in just one random person.)

    Point is: if your house starts to get a mildewy smell or you see anything – get it tested. Seriously find a decent service and cough up the $100 for a quick check because the possible long-run consequences aren't freaking worth not spending the bit of money.

    It's TRUE meat heals! Carnivore for just over 6 months here (beef butter bacon eggs salmon and sardines) and the arthritis pain is 80% gone and improving daily.

    Any diet high in processed foods is awful. You only have to look at the populations who live the longest and have the fewest food-related diseases to see this. None of them are vegetarian…

    The people of Okinawa, for example, longest life expectancy in the world. There are various indigenous peoples who eat only eat meat, fish, vegetables and fruits that have no diabetes or heart disease. Some only eat fish.

    As soon as we arrive though with refined sugar and flour with our "heart-healthy wholegrains" they get fat, diabetic and die of heart disease.

    I went from no red meat or pork, to vegetarian, and was finally attempting to go vegan and I only got sicker and sicker over time. Now I eat mostly meat and I’m getting back to normal. It’s been a crazy ride.
