Thanks and that was very well explained. I was so confused with same question and you answered it very well. Thanks again
Girl byeeeee!
I believe grains shouldn't be called in the carb category, I think something close to grain poison but not carbs because there are plenty of foods that are good carbs.
Ridiculous ima eat 75 percent protein
Ahhh I love going to high-carb promoters and seeing loads of people who benefited immensely from cutting carbs š
Also phytochemicals literally means āplant chemicalsā. None of them are essential. Good job everyone for resisting the slave mind šš¼
the thing that most people donāt understand is that They were eating them wrong, pasta can be eaten as an everyday meal if you do it right, ad example being careful at portion sizes, (60 – 100 grams), eating pasta made with whole wheat, with the bran and germ intact, and also being careful sauce with which you season the pasta, instead of fatty sauce full of cheese, cream, meat, season with a lot of fresh vegetables like tomatoes and others that add fresh flavor and provides fiber that slows down the absorption of the sugars.
Also all the people who thinks that pizza is unhealthy, is because they never had a real pizza.
Pizza can be made into a nutritionally sound meal, and it always has been that way, until it was ruined by chain restaurant trying to make it more ārichā and palatable by adding loads of fatty toppings.
if you make it smaller, only use whole wheat flour, donāt put a ton of caloric dense toppings, like a ton of cheese, salami, pepperoni, but instead you make an āortolanaā that is a pizza topped with tomato sauce and vegetables, that way a pizza can also be enjoyed once or twice a week without issues.
So you just need to cut on the sugary drinks, snacks, smoothies, all the starbuck things, and start taking tea and coffe black or with non caloric sweeteners, instead of going all of the taliban way and and cutting all the carbs completely.

And keto can make you loose some weight on the short term, but should implemented as a lifestyle, since it is not sustainable on the long run and continuously going on ketosis is not healthy either, and it should be done for 2 – 3 weeks maximum.
For example The people living in places like the Mediterranean area, Japan and other, have an high fiber, high carb, low saturated fat diet, that are the places with the highest life expectancy, and lowest level of obesity and cardiovascular disease, with a diet based on fresh vegetables, whole grains, proteins primarily from fish and vegetables sources and monounsaturated fats from extra virgin olive oil that are actually good for hearth health and omega 3 from fatty fish that are good for coronary health, also them in moderation of course since they are caloric as well.
The guidelines about the risks of saturated fats were based on Mediterranean dietary patterns, and they were technically right, but the problem was that people in North America didnāt adopted Mediterranean food patterns, so they didnāt work as intended and people on the internet started throwing crazy conspiracy theories as always.
But the problems were the consumers and the companies producing foods that misunderstood and misused them.
Basically in North America people already have the most meat intensive diet on the world, and all keto fanatics keep going around āi need more fat in my already extremely meat intensive dietā and have the wrong idea that every meal need to have meat otherwise āitās not completeā while all over the world is also normal to have meal without meat or other animal products and considering them more occasional treats.
Also if you think about it, meat started becoming a staple of the everyday diet only after the advent of intensive farming in recent times, before that all meats, always have been very expensive treats.
This is the advice that got America fat
Imported expensive exotic carbs
Good. Poor people just eat potato chips…
This is good advice.
How are carbs the MOST important thing to eat? You have essential fatty acids and essential amino acids, but no essential sugars… hmm
What is the truth? We live very confusing times!
Not true banannas spike blood sugar
Plants have always been a secondary source of food for Human beings. There's a reason why Children don't like to eat their Vegetables………………….It's genetic..
I believe it! I tried keto and all that fat didn't sit well and I ate clean. When I was a kid in the 70s there weren't many fat people and diabetes wasn't a household name. What happened? Corporations turned food into business and it made food addictive and media pushed fat acceptance and the combo equals a fat population. In Japan, almost everyone around me is thin and they eat a s# load of carbs but not all day and this culture has more pressure to stay thin, except they starting push Western stuff here and promoting some fat comediennes and posting plus size model ads in a few stores. And mind you, I live in countryside where many drive, there are a small amount of overweight and a rare fat person. People do tend to be more active in Japan walking or biking or going to the gym. My Japanese hubby said he feels the difference is when he was in NYC, people seem to be eating all the time, meals and snacking a lot. Plus we eat a lot more sugar and sodas. Many Japanese didn't grow up being fed sweets much so they don't have the same cravings. My hubby has a sweet tooth but he has self-control. I feel Japanese are brought up to hav more pressure and gaman (endure) and can still say no. If we make their processed foods more addictive and keep pushing media that fat is ok will they become more like the West in the next few decades?
Well. You say you get most of your calories from fat and protein but you eat most carbs which wouldn't have sense. In 1 gram of pure protein there is 4 calories as is there in carbs, so if you eat 100 grams of pure carbs you have eaten 400 calories. So you actually cant eat more carbs then protein and gst more calories from protein. The gate one might be true, there is 7 calories pr. Gram of fat, that's almost twice to amount if carbs and protein
What About oatmeal?
Fibre is!
Carbs make you fat and make you feel sluggish.
Hi will I gain weight if I eat crispy cream donuts before a workout?
Why doesn't he go straight out and say he's talking about keto?
I feel best while carnivore. I had so many problems and nothing else helped. Not paleo, not vegetarian, not vegan, not whole 30. Keto did a bit, but nothing like carnivore. Hopefully everyone finds what's best for them.
