THERE was music into the night at Glastonbury Vegan Festival on Saturday (October 15).
The event at the Red Brick Building celebrated the Plant Based Treaty, which promotes a shift from animal agriculture to plant-based diets as a way of combating the climate crisis.
The free daytime event was opened by Glastonbury Mayor Jon Cousins, with the first ten visitors picking up free goodie bags.
A vegan and eco living market showcased a number of plant-based independent businesses with stalls and gazebos.
The Old Tannery on-site restaurant provided local seasonal vegan a la carte inside, along with a vegan street food style outside.
Activities included live music, tree planting, storytelling, speakers, a seed giveaway and workshops.
Then a music night took place from the evening until midnight with performances from Mobius Loop, Kitty Stewart, High Shelf Remedy and Mischa and His Merry Men.
