This is beautiful Emmie, cannot thanks you enough!
It makes me feel better about eating my almond or cashew butter in my oats every morning 🙂
I’m naturally quite lean like you and if I don’t include a couple healthy fats in my day I lose way too much weight.
Keep shining your light, and sharing this knowledge in your way – unique, lovely, fun and real! We all need it! You’re clearly a special human!💕
Love you Emmie❤ I can vouch for your program… so very valuable!
Thank you for explaining 😀 Does the starch solution work for Insulin Resistance with all the starches you eat ?
Awesome video Emmie, Such great information, thanks for taking the time. Have a great one.
I did this and not only gained weight but became estrogen dominant and all of other hormones got messed up. My hair was falling, I got fibroids which doctors who are lazy just recommended surgery, my melasma got insane, my period was very affected plus my sleep, I was waking up at 3am every day, anxiety increased. I’d like to get pregnant so this games of diets are not an option. I suggest women to be careful in following trends. There are particular needs we have. I am now adding some animal foods, after being vegan for years. There are important amino acids women need to increase their fertility, I do everything organic, eating fats which also are super important in women hormones and fertility, I have veggies and low sugar fruits but I do have banana because that is good for fertility. My hair stopped falling, my period is more regular, my skin is clearing up and I feel my hormones are stabilizing. I am naturally and slowly losing weight, I do yoga and walks everyday, I will get a check up on my fibroids next month.
ladies, be careful and focus on your medical needs. These trends make others rich but we pay the price and serious consequences with our health.
I am confused – how can you call yourself a nutritionist when you have no degree in that field? Just wondering.
As always ❤❤❤❤
I have been plant based for about 10 years and struggling but Emmie's Slim on Starch program is what really filled the holes for me. Thank you so much for following your heart Emmie! ❤
I have been WFPB for almost one year now……. A friend said to me …”you look younger”. (I am 73!). Wow great feeling inside and out 🥰
Rich Roll?!? Love Rich Roll. You and I have so much in common. I just haven’t embraced the lifestyle (yet) as you have. Getting there. Went WFPBNO in 2020, but I’m still working on the ratios. Your videos are definitely helping. Keep going. I’m watching. Thank you.
I love this video!!! Your program is so fabulous 🤍 I love the part where you said it’s more then the food on our plate. The mindset was the biggest reason I joined the program and I am so happy I found you 🤍 this video really helps a person understand that although the starch solution is a huge part of the journey, more is needed to reach success
❤ thanks🤍
Oh excited for this one!! Content is 🔥
I have so much love for you and your program Emmie! You have truly put your heart and soul into how you've developed it and it's so amazing to see the impact you've had ❤
Great video!
My tip: kabocha, butternut and other squashes are as filling as potatoes with half the calories, I scoop the seeds out and microwave them, they are delicious and so satisfying. Also, let's not forget chestnuts at this time of year, virtually fat-free and very filling, boiled or pan-roasted are amazingly tasty and comforting, very seasonal so it's good to eat them now while we can
I am a petite 56 year old and don't exercise as much as runners! If I eat potatoes, grains and beans/legumes every day I'll definitely put on weight, I mostly stick to fruit and veggies raw and cooked, I also eat mushrooms and ONE portion of potatoes or grains or legumes ONCE A DAY, I am also oil and sugar free. If I stick to these amounts my weight stays stable or I even lose a little bit, but if I increase the quantities of the higher calorie plant foods I quickly put on weight.
Hi. I'm 58 yes old. I weigh 250. I don't think I should eat potatoes 🤔. I tried Dr. McDougall's way and gained weight:( your tweaks seems better. BUT, I never loose weight eating cauliflower and broccoli either even without oil. I'm confused as to what veggies for me. Leafy?
You are an amazing communicator Emmie, I’ve watched all your videos from your first to now. I’ve improved a little over time, still a long way to go 😊
Congratulations Emmie being 8 years on the Starch solution. Another awesome video as always and love 🥰 it and love 💕 Emmie and thanks for sharing your story 👍.
This really hit home Emmie. I discovered Rich's book "Finding Ultra" around 2012 and read it because I was doing trail ultra races and wanted, like you, to improve my ability. What I discovered was an amazing transformation story that centered around his vegan diet and I became fascinated! He's the reason I've been whole foods and mostly plant based since then. I've really enjoyed your channel this last year or so to fine tune my eating and follow the Starch Solution principles, I've lost several pounds that creeped up these last few years and have kept it off! Loved hearing your story in this video! 😊
Does this work for insulin resistance? Or like prediabetes? We are told to reduce the carbs
I wondered why i wasnt losing weight on this starch solution. I have always eaten healthy and can’t understand why i am overweight. Tried this diet for 8 weeks and lost nothing so I gave up.
I should not have given up after week 6 of your coaching program 🙃
