    Just made this (didn’t get to it last week). It is incredible. The lime juice really makes it. I’m going back and making all of Brian’s chilis next. 😍 Off to my 2nd bowl…

    Brian, sure looks tasty, but as a food – aholic not for me. Can I tell you something I see? Your barely swallowing before you shove more in your mouth.
    That's the way active alcoholics drink. That's the way drug addicts end up.
    If you just say. Microwaved a piece of squash do you think you'd behave the same way about it?
    Tom Brady lately said " it doesn't matter what you did yesterday, or last week, or last month, or last year, it matters what you do today.
    I will always be a good addict, today I'll keep my food simple.

    Thanks again Krocks for a new spin on chili! Loved it. I put WAY more lime in than what the recipe indicated, and it was great. I don't always have soy curls on hand, so I think a couple potatoes could be used in a pinch when I make it again and it would be just as good. Also, thanks for introducing me to Mexican oregano. I'll definitely enjoy experimenting with this in the future.

    I made this today! The taste was so delicious but next time I’m going to skip the tofu/almond milk mixture because once I put that in, it turned into a weird soupy mess.

    Delicious! I soaked my soy curls and then put them in the food processor to slightly "shred" them (like shredded chicken). My husband ate two huge bowls. Perfect recipe for freezing!!!

    White pepper is great. Goes well in 'cheese' sauces. (I've rediscovered it – thought I didn't like it ). Thanks for this- my favourite chili is your classic recipe….though I reduce the cinnamon.

    Oh my gosh Brian you knocked it out of the park again! I just made this and it is sooooo good. I added diced shitake mushrooms and extra corn (because my honey really likes corn) – I found Mexican Oregano at Safeway – and it was organic to boot – McCormick's brand. Thank you for this wonderful recipe – so hearty and wonderful for Fall 🙂

    I ordered soy curls after seeing this! Ha. I’ve never used them before. They came today so I can’t wait to get in the kitchen tomorrow. I’m thinking about adding a can of rotel in place of the poblano. We will see. I also had silken tofu in the fridge that needed to be used so perfect timing. Continued love and prayers for you guys ❤
