I usually make a batch of beans, mushrooms and rice in my instant pot and store in the fridge. Then I just make some frozen veggies and add to it with some sort of sauce. Or put in a bed of mixed greens and dressing. Or add unto a wrap. It's crazy how different the same ingredients can taste. I also try and keep some hummus and fresh veggies in the fridge to snack on.
I'll have to try that sauce it looks amazing
You two are awesome! Just discovered your channel. Subscribed!
I always batch cook beans and potatoes to have on hand, and rice in my rice cooker. For example, this week I made chickpeas in my slow cooker to use to make curry, chickpea salad sandwiches or salads, and Buddha bowls. I also baked sweet potatoes and banana bread since while they are cooking I can get other things done. Now I can use the ingredients to make meals rather than prepping every meal.
Those wraps!! I meal prep, and have a freezer full of soup. There are usually 2 or 3 types, so I just have them when I'm feeling lazy.
Soup is the best meal prep.
You stuffed that wrap, like I stuff my emotions into the darkest corners of my mind. Looks delicious though.
I can’t find the recipe for the ginger tahini, please repost – thank you and I’m excited to try the wrap! 🙂
Those are some really good ideas ladies! Really wish I could find some smoked tofu! Lettuce wraps are my current favorite instead of a flour based wrap. And that dressing is on my to do list. Peanut butter makes everything delicious 😋.
I think Ive meal prepped like once my whole life lol. I usually just fast until I get home but I love this idea! I like how you guys used your air fryer! I’m so scared to add oil directly into mine 😅
Hi 😁 your meal prep video was great!! I bought tempeh and I'm a little nervous about cooking it. I'm going to give it a try today😁 I work during the week and I love to prep my meals on the weekend. I don't like to eat the same thing every day so when I make soup I freeze 1 serving containers of it. I have a few kinds in my freezer so I have a variety. I also cook extra rice and freeze part of it. I buy frozen Stir fry mix and I use it to make stir frys and pho. I can put the Stir fry on noodles or take out rice to serve it on. I also make tofu scramble and I add rice to half of it and add sesame oil and soya sauce and I fry it for fried rice. I also make it onto wraps. Variety is the spice of life 😁
