Ok, I've got some questions, they might sound silly but I have to ask anyway lol. When storing it, do we store it with the marinade? I normally store tofu I haven't used in some Tupperware filled with water. should we press it before cooking like we do with regular tofu?……..tastes awesome by the way!

I've tried so many that sucked, but this one's no fail and tastes amazing, by the way, I couldn't get to this in 24hrs, it marinated for two days, the more busy you are the better!
Do you think this would be good with tempeh?
Well, my tofu turned out great,except that it didn't reduce by much,so I used the leftover marinade as a delicious onion soup.The tofu tasted exactly like the tofu at my favourite Vietnamese restaurant so thanks so much!

If you can find any bbq sauce, especially labeled hickory, then you could add that. Usually they have added sugar so you probably should add less sugar.

I'm not use to cooking with tofu, so I was really excited when I was checking out the pad thai recipe with this side clip on tofu. I didn't know there were two types of tofu silken and non-silken and I got silken because that's all my store sold. I picked it up when I got home and it fell apart Lol hope it still will taste for my pad thai :/

I'm currently making this for the second time ! The first time I did, I ate most of the tofu right out of the pan. I wish I had one of those multiple cavity mini loaf pans so that I could bake multiple bricks of tofu at a time.

Could you tell me the difference between different oils? Grape seed oil, sun flower seed oil, olive oil, canola oil…there are so many out there is there health benefits to different ones or just flavor differences? I just recently became vegetarian about 2 months ago and vegan about a week ago, and my grandma and my dad decided to be vegan as soon as I chose vegetarian. And I've been trying many different recipes and trying to learn as much about foods as I can.

Put rinsed tofu on a plate – stick another plate on top and place something heavy on top of the top plate. This will squeeze excess water out of your tofu. I usually press mine this way in the fridge for a couple of hours, then just pat it dry with a clean dish towel. You don't want your tofu "dry" you just want it to have less moisture in it. Microwaving is a terrible idea. You could also look this up on the internet for some alternate ideas.
I ended up using the frozen one, and it came out amazing anyway [I think I'll use half the sugar next time though] lol I cant wait to make it again, the correct way XD
I only have frozen tofu at home, is there a reason you cant use thawed tofu? 🙁

Maybe you used the wrong type of tofu. Tofu comes in many textures from silken soft to extra firm. Jon's baked tofu recipe calls for "extra firm" tofu. Silken tofu or super soft tofu may not work for this because it is too soft to absorb the water.
