When gathering to celebrate the holidays, it’s good to have treats on hand that everyone can enjoy. Grabbing some baked goods that fit various dietary preferences and restrictions is an easy way for a host to create a feeling of comfort for all guests.

These spots offer a good selection of gluten-free and vegan options along with conventional treats. Although planning ahead and pre-ordering is ideal, many of these businesses also offer last-minute grab-and-go options.

Chandelier Bakery

5206 N.E. 78th St., Vancouver; 360-718-2175; open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Chandelier offers colorful macarons, cheesecake bars, cupcakes and cookies, as well as a long list of baked goods for those with restricted diets. Vegan and gluten-free options include a variety of cupcakes ($4), chocolate chip or sugar cookies ($4), and cakes ($21-$97). Gluten-free scones ($4.50), monster cookies ($3.25) and macarons ($2.50) are available, as well as keto diet treats like cupcakes ($5), magic bars ($5.50), chocolate cheesecake brownies ($4.25) and truffles ($2). Keto cakes fall within a $24 to $96 range depending on size. If you’re looking for a specific item, it’s best to call or email ahead of time. The sooner the better. The deadline for Christmas orders is Dec. 17.

This Uptown Village favorite also offers gluten-free items like chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter blondies, pear brown-butter tarts, coconut macaroons and crustless quiches ($ 3.50-$5). Bleu Door’s baked oatmeal is vegan and gluten free. Online orders can be placed through Bleu Door’s website.

Simply Sweets in Vancouver’s Carter Park neighborhood offers gluten-free bars ($3.50-$5), cookies ($1.50) and custom cakes, as well as vegan and gluten-free cupcakes. Cupcakes can be ordered ahead with a few days’ notice (six for $21.50 or 12 for $38). Gluten-free holiday treat boxes must be ordered a week ahead, but the bakery will have some on hand for last-minute shoppers.

Sweetly

1214 S.W. Scotton Way, Suite 105, Battle Ground; 360-241-4784; open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Sweetly’s gluten-free goods are made by a baker with celiac disease. She makes everything offsite in a certified gluten-free facility, then brings the treats in sealed containers to the bakery, where they’re stored in a separate refrigerator.

Offerings are seasonal and vary all the time. A recent list included gluten-free bars with flavors such as white chocolate cranberry, caramel nougat, snickerdoodle, pumpkin cream cheese, tiramisu and triple chocolate mousse ($5.75). Individual packaged kids’ character macarons ($3.99 each) and sea salt caramel panna cotta jars ($5.99) were also available.

Cakes can be ordered through a link on the website ($55-$95). Customers should make sure to specify if they want a gluten-free cake. Bars can be pre-ordered by sending an email to [email protected] Special orders require seven to 10 days’ notice.
