    I'm so glad I came across your video! I tried it the first time and they were so delicious. I'm cooking them again right now as I am typing because I have to see the cooking instructions. I use tamarind sauce instead of cocum or lemon and it taste as good. I'm boiling the scrapes for tea after dinner because they say every parts of the tree is beneficial. Actually, it tastes better than the powder. In the Philippines, we cook it differently but your recipe is so delicious. Thanks for sharing.

    Mum says to scrape the outside lightly before cooking. I've always just put them into the curry as is.
    Not sure if there;s any benefit of scraping the outside.
    I like your method of pulling back that strip after cutting into each piece.

    Aha..so I got it right.. I just happen to pick up a packet of frozen drumsticks and was wondering what to do with them. ..once my friend gave me a hint that you do not eat the skin. I just cooked them in a similar way..without the coconut at the end
