Hi there, I am new from Australia π¦πΊ. Thanks for your beautiful recipes. Amazing, I am also a photographer and food scientist/ nutritionist and great cook π. I am persian by background and privilege to know how cook traditional meals. Love your style of shooting and art of cooking
I would like to make this but itβs difficult to find purple sweet potato and also Taro. Why do you call this a tea, if there is no actual Tea is used in this drink?
Any suggestions on how to shop for taro? My local market has the large ones and smaller ones. I used the large one in this recipe. It was delicious, but didnβt have that strong taro flavor Iβm looking for.
I tried this recipe tonight and you know your stuff with confidence:) it smelled sooooo fragrant and tasted creamy and smooth. Iβm so in love with this drink. Thank you π
Oh my gosh, this is perfect!! Much healthier than all that sugar syrup used in the bubble tea places I go to. I have a friend who's obsessed with bubble/milk teas and I can't have more than half of their drinks on the menuπAside from slush or hot/cold tea. And Taro was my fav before I went vegan. Yayy so happy to see this^^
Hi Wil: Where I reside taro root is hard to find. When I did a little research it can be called several names such as Yautia. This is what I used, but I boiled it. I also add very little of 100% blue butterfly pea powder, my very own homemade almond cashew milk blend. I added boba pearls to it. My results were very thick & unable to go through a straw. What do you recommend boiled or baked? I forgot to mention I used the whole root. HELP PLEASE!!!!!
I love Taro tee from a store but unfortunately this recipe doesnβt taste at all like the typical Taro tee i know. The baked Taro almost tastes like a normal potato so there is no chance to get the typical Tati taste :<. Wish it were different
Is there tea in this?
Looks delicious π
