I went carnivore 3 years ago . My parents both are not on any meds, dad is 90 mum is 85 ate meat and veges however where we lived growing up veges were very expensive so veges were very basic, and we didnt eat a lot of carbs we had very little junk food and very little fruit. Mum used to cook green paw paw in lui of pumpkin and our fruit consisted of mangos and bananas when the plants fruited. Basically the only veges i can recall growing up with is frozen peas potatoes paw paw carrots and on rare occasions beans. As a person who tries for zero carbs I can tell you my energy is good – i never get hungry, my moods are stable and Ive fixed a lot of minor health issues. In my 60s not on any meds and have been to the doc like 5 times in 30 years. Last time was a year ago, he got me to do a blood test and was shocked my glycerides were so low #Feeling40
Just observe how these two look! One healthy and full of life, the other one just a pale head shaker.
Which one of those two speakers looks healthier and happier? Based on your answer, go with that diet, but make sure you do it at 100% (no cheating).

Vegetables are the slow silen killer, they might be more silent than the full sugar and processed diet most have today, but the evidence is clear that the Carnivore diets are the Holy Grail healer of everything, from heart to autoimmune diseases to anything you can think of.

Why did anyone address him as Dr Greger instead of Not-Doctor Michael Greger? Since he hasn’t actually undertaken any residency whatsoever, and since he’s never actually treated or worked on a single patient in his entire non-career..?
I haven't eaten meat for years and I'm perfectly healthy. I'm not vegetarian because I care about the environment or my own health particularly but I love animals and whether you want to hear it or not the fact is they are sentient beings with their own personalities, if you eat cows and pigs no reason you should be against eating dogs and cats but I doubt many will. However I look at it I find it barbaric that humans with all their knowledge can still slaughter them on mass.

As an ex vegan Im now happier on meat/animal foods. But the debate should be on how we get our meat. The factory farming industry/ meat trade is horribly cruel as its all money driven, like any other industry.
Only the meat trade has living feeling beings as it's 'products'. As a consciuos civilization we should be making it way better for the animals. We need to sort that out so the animals don't have to suffer in order to feed us. That's what we need to be discussing IMO.
Both diets work, humans are omnivores. Eat what you want /suits your genetics but if we could stop the suffering, and trust me they do suffer in factory farms which supplies 80/90% of the meat. Buy from free range butchers at least.

Vegans are always suffering from auto immune problems and mental health issues. They are also commonly known for being irritating, overbearing and unbearable.
Carbs, Sugar and processed craps (vegan foods) are the real reasons for ill health.
Vegan "foods" are a scam made mainly with GMO soya which is a second rate protein.

After 30 odd years as a vegetarian, due to health problems, slowly and with lots of convincing got back to eating meat. The results were overwelming. Thanks to Ivor and others like him I've got my health back
We are omnivores. Meat was an essential factor in our evolution and survival. Without meat we would have gone extinct. Vegans are the most unhealthy and weak humans you'll ever see. Their diet choice also seems to be linked to the part of the brain that controls critical thinking.

I think it's simple. More natural food we eat better, be it fruit, veg or meat. More processed the food is, more additive it has, more unhealthy it is.

For the last 7 years, I've eaten a carnivore diet consisting of nothing but meat, fish, some limited dairy, salt, and water. Comparing my experience on carnivore vs the 4-5 years I spent eating a whole food vegan diet, my energy, mood, mental alertness, and physical fitness are all 100x better on carnivore. I can't speak for anyone else, but personally I can't ever see myself going back to eating plants.
