yo man loving your vids, and Im curious, are you still using the kinetic rock and roll trainer? Im wanting to get in on zwift bad, but have read a few reviews that it doesnt work well with zwift. Any thoughts on this? Are you still digging your trainer? Thanks for all you do bro, and keep it up
You can tweak the trainer effect to reduce how much shifting you need to do. It's 50% by default but yours might be 100%. I am running 75% and feel like it's a bit harsh on m y legs every time I hit a little incline so I might reduce it to 70%. A higher trainer effect lets you put out power easier on little inclines. Obviously, doesn't matter too much on long climbs.
Maybe you could use Discord to ride with a team strategy 🙂

I feel like you're not getting out of your seat enough. I don't change gears all too much. I just get out of my seat and down shift one or two gears and climb like Contador lol. Mild exaggeration…..

It's me again. Lol. Something is super glitchy with your computer or wireless connection (wifi or power meter). Maybe your you are getting drop outs. Your power output numbers are all over the place. I had a similar issue with 2.4ghz wifi being interrupted by my Stages PM Ant+ signal. Look into it.
Ughh. Why does ones fitness drop off so fast after just a few days off?!?! I just came back from 10 days off and it felt like I had to learn to ride again.

#Bruh; Love your stuff man! I also ride on a Wahoo kickr, and it amazes (irritates me) that the wattage is hopping so much all over the place. I know for a fact that I am not jumping between 180 & 320watts… but looking at your WATT numbers while you race, this is exactly what happens to me as well. And if I stop pedaling for like two seconds, my rider almost stops. So there is something fishy going on. It might be that the numbers the kickr send is more stable, but it´s very frustrating / demoralizing to see the WATT nubers jumping so much. I guess I should just watch the riders in the pack, but I wish they (Zwift / Wahoo) fixed that…

Hey Tyler, I'm only about 5 minutes in to the video here, so you may have gotten this sorted as you went along. But if you need some info. on the smart trainer. I know Shane Miller (channel here on YouTube) has several where he goes over things for the Kickr. Not sure if it would help and you may already know about it, just thought I'd mention it is all. He has stuff about doing a spin down, etc.
I'm thinking about getting the new Kickr myself, seems to be the kinda standard. Hope you get it sorted out.
