    These people were lovely people. They genuinely care about their health. Such a shame that they are so misinformed and I hope they will find the correct eating pattern for humans one day (carnivore). Notice how whenever I answered any of their questions or "rebuttals" they just deflected onto a new topic…

    Fibre agitates our digestive system as it forces our bodies to get rid of it, which speaks for itself. I have been a 2 year Carnivore, and I have only had excellent results, this is personal and, please do not think I am trying to disrespect vegans or vegetarians, even the fact I was vegan for almost 6 years before converting, it caused more harm, even though I really worked with the calories etc. trying hard to eat the right veggies and things even cutting sugar and gluten, I still got really sick and had bad reactions. I am a carnivore, and ever since I transitioned, I have been feeling amazing! I also cured 99% of my health issues. I am very happy and grateful to the experts, including Dr ken Bery, Kelly Hogan, and SB gal, they really were my inspiration to change my lifestyle, in fact, they gave me back my health!

    Eating red meat doesn't cause cholesterol that causes heart disease. Especially grass fed meat.

    Here's why, when you consume omega 6 linoleic acid it oxidizes your cholesterol. When you eat complex carbohydrates it stores as glucose and you get an insulin response. To much insulin causes resistance. When your HDL is low and your TG are high you get dense cholesterol particles causing them to interact with the endothelium, this causes foam cells which causes atherosclerosis and so on.

    Good use of some basic street epistemology techniques to provoke momentarily thoughtful introspection – met with the usual yeah-but-I-read or yeah-but-I-was-told objections and what-aboutisms that have served to reinforce cognitive biases despite and absence of supporting hard evidence and evidence to the contrary. People love "being right" – we're wired for it, and it usually serves us well to survive moment to moment… Well done for challenging the ideology and scratching at the cognitive dissonance.

    Why add hyperbole like 'DESTROYED' to what was a perfectly reasonably presented discussion on both sides? They both respected each other's views and parted amicably.     As a 46 year old, Watching people walk around telling people what they should eat is laughable!! Especially young people!! My family have always eaten vegetables and meat all their lives! They are all healthy, and some are in their 80s now! Grass fed this grass fed that!! It's boring now!! When cows are put in sheds during winter, they are eating more than grass!! Pellets which have all kind of ingredients in them. Anyway, on to watch the next video of how I should breath properly!!

    Nice to see some civil dialog with a vegan and someone studying mainstream nutrition. πŸ‘With cholesterol, in 2015 the American Heart Association stated that dietary cholesterol was no longer a nutrient of concern. Just a bit more information.

I see this too often with a lot of things. __ having good intentions and/or strong passion about ___ wanting to be a part of the ___ community where they learn how to dismiss conflicting evidence to the point where they have cognitive dissonance.
