Soy is straight poison. you should never drink it. If you're a man you should have a zero tolerance policy on soy. Dr Berg is a great place to start.
I’m allergic to peanut butter 😷
only mammal with mammary gland can produce milk. So you cannot make milk from plants
what about cow milk, goat milk and camel milk? which of these is the best option??
4 square kilometres for a cup of milk? It takes 0.007284 square kilometres to sustain a cow capable of producing 36 litres of milk per day, which equates to approximately 152 cups. I agree that it is far less efficient than the alternatives, but your data appears to be made up.
Pandemics are spread by the unquestioning media.
Bro 75% of the adults being lactose in tolerance is so jealous
Soya milk smells awful after a couple of days.
what he says about the hormones in cows milk is in such small amounts; he is actually meaning very small amounts because when I was a toddler I lived on milk (started from living on the farm with FRESH UNTAMPERED MILK) then moved to city and kept drinking heaps if bottled milk from shop, Huge difference; the hormones Did affect me negatively. And it's not only the hormones.
What about non-lactoce
I drink regular milk and it’s so yummy 😋 🥛
I will still consume dairy milk, nonetheless 🤷🏻♂️ No question about it 😁
Chidi Anagonye approves of this video.
If cashews and almonds can be made into milk, what about peanuts? Might keep it cheaper.
I drink 2% Lactose free cow milk, which has a shelf life of at least 2 months. So there's no waste. To me, there's absolutely no difference in the taste. It just cost more which is pretty much a wash because with the long shelf life I'm not pouring out sour milk.
Even if you can't have dairy milk, you can still get your vitamin D from time in the sun.
My father's milk is the best milk in the world! My father's milk tastes much better than anything I've tasted before. I suggest you to visit my father to drink his juice!
this ted is ripe with myths and scientific misrepresentation
My fav mlik is mommy mlik (joke)
i cant digest soy, oat milk has too many carbs in it. the less sugar the better for my liver. so almond milk wins out.
I'm so glad oat and soy are better for the environment because I really like soy milk for cornflakes and really like oat milk for coffee and hot cocoa and I wanted to know what's the least harmful to the environment and still healthy to drink.
Guess I can continue as normal, I always get oat and soy
Why didn't you take into account the energy costs of creating plant milk? This is much more important than methane😂
The winner is the super milk I will make by mixing the four milks in the video together
Does anyone know about lacosoy and alpro.
Are they good for weight loss?
somebody compare cow milk to goat and camel milk. Thumbs up guys so they see it. Lets go!
This is nowhere near a true comparison. This is an anti-dairy milk and cow video, politically based. Milk from a cow is still the biggest bang for your buck nutritionally and every other way. Don't believe the political b*****
Great informative video and start to this conversation. Yet, the quantification of the environmental and health impacts gets more complicated. For instance, while cows do generate methane, this methane can be captured and harvested as a clean alternative for electricty and heat usage supportive a sustainable energy grid and cutting down on fossil fuels. Also, retired dairy cow meat is trending as higher quality as the cows, especially from more local farms are well cared for. Separately, soy product for some women is aggravating for some forms of breastcancer and may not be healthy to eat depending on your genetic makeup. While the video addressed the challenge of 'access,' we should speak to affordability a bit more. While well intended, the dairy industry is subsidizes to the point of an increasing oversupply of milk. While it keeps milk prices affordable, it also accelerates some of the environmental issues from dairy production. However, take these subsidies away and we could see milk prices more inline with nut alternatives which would put many of these nutrient out of reach of many persons in the country. On the other hand, nuts are subject to supply and demand of the greater global economy and in times of supply disruption (such as for instance this war) it can create unpredictable pricing which may improve prices ongoingly. In short, its complicated and requires more stringent look at pricing policy while not providing a clear answer on 'what is the best milk.' Regardless, good video, even if they do struggle with the difference between less and fewer….
They conveniently didn't bring up that eating meat will give you a thrill that no nut ever will.
It takes approximately 4 square kilometers of land to make a glass of milk according to this video. Yet there is only 148,326,000 sq. km of land mass on the Earth. That would mean that if the total land mass of the Earth was converted to dairy production, the Earth would only produce 9,270,375 liters of milk (divide 148,326,000 sq. km by 4 to get glasses of milk and then divide by 4 again to get liters of milk). Or approximately 9,270 tonnes of milk (water is 1000 l/tonne, milk would be slightly more because it has a lower specific gravity). Yet somehow the Earths total production of milk in 2018, was 843 million tonnes, over 90,000 times as much as would seem possible if the whole of the land mass of the Earth was turned over to milk production.
Cows wouldn’t produce so much methane if they were fed grass, instead of grains they can’t digest!
The added nutrients in non-dairy milk are not that bioavailable anyway. Will be sticking to the dairy milk 😂
Milk I think it became CHEESE in the Before Current Era (B.C.E)?
What milk do YOU DRINK? Ted?,I only just drink dairy and soy milk
I think the milk is best for me is almond milk 🥛🫘
i drink milk today
meanwhile, I drink "hazelnut milk", i.e., rice milk with hazelnut paste …
… I'll just go with "can't be as bad for the planet as cow's milk, eh?", and carry on
