Hi I'm new to this and I am searching how to get better health through better nutrition. l have been doing my own research and have found so many videos on vegans who have converted to a carnivore diet and had amazing health benefits but very few videos doing the reverse, so there must be something in that?

Good thing she says “plant based “ instead of vegan because I know some obese vegans strung out on sugar, that practice a unhealthily vegan diet.

3:10 When I transitioned from vegetarian to vegan, my older sister said, "Now you've ruined everything." And that was just because she liked cooking cheesy quiches for us when we visited! It's not like we ate at her place a lot. Yes, people eating a WFPB diet can face social hurdles, agree! 🙂

I live in a mixed marriage. How I handle it is that I make lots of vegetable dishes and if he wants to eat meat, he cooks his own meat and eats the vegetables I make. No judgement, no fuss.

It works well for a good amount of time but at some point years in you get quite deficient and need some animal products it’s just the way it is guys sorry, I know you don’t want to but you need some eggs and steak, not too much and you’ll feel amazing, just do it

How come in the health food industry no one really acknowledges how colonialism cause all the health problems? Like indigenous people were healthy before colonialism. Eating animals only became bad with colonialism and the lack of wild roaming animals. Even plant based is chemical and sprayed often.

I like to think of myself as an expert on vegetable soup. I'm rather good at it. Although when you make it you boil out all the fiber of the vegetables because your making broth from it. Which is a shame but enevitable

I believe you misspoke towards the end. Sugar, oil and salt is not a modern day food. In the middle east olive oil and salt has b÷n used for centuries. In Europe the amount of salt used to ferment is mind blowing. The processing of those foods mixed with the chemicals is what will be our downfall. Here's kale to you my friend

Health care costs are out of control. Going WFPB vegan can save money, pain and suffering from disease.
Lower your chance of high blood pressure, heart disease and cancer by going vegan. Hospitals, doctors offices and schools should be places where good nutrition is taught and provided not places that contribute to disease and obesity. It is crazy the hospitals are feeding people the very food that caused the heart disease, high blood pressure or cancer that they are treating. Every person in the hospital should receive some nutrition education before being released. Every doctor visit should be an opportunity to educate patients about how food choices impacts their health outcomes. The fact that doctors do not get nutrition training as part of their training makes no sense. Medicare and Medicaid should require nutrition education as part of patient care. Focus should be on food choices.

I'm addicted to food, and it's a big unhealthy part of my "personality". I used to be addicted to drugs, and I think once I kicked that habit, I picked up food as my vice. I love all animals and I find my own hypocrisy to be conflicting. I weigh more than I ever have, have more health problems than when I was in active addiction, and I think it's time I give this a real go.

Can't say as I agree with Dr. Kahn. I just can't see what he's talking about with the fasting mimicking diet – seems unhealthy to me. I think I'd find it easier to fast or do intermittent fasting, which I do often with great success.

Not to be critical, but I've known others who adopted a mostly raw plant-based diet and one of the biggest benefits was their eye-site. Raw carrots (particularly raw carrot juice) was predominantly responsible for helping them no longer need glasses. Just food for thought.

There are more appropriate words for "pregnant people", they have traditionally been and always should be referred to as WOMEN, expectant mother, or mother to be! IF you think there are more than two genders, your pronouns are: RE/TARD.

I ate mainly Vegan Processed Food and now will change to Whole Food Plant Based + Gluten free… Also I was exercising and drinking clean healthy water so its best to go WFPB if you can.
