    I try vegan,diet..don't work..and I feel in conflict because I don't wanna eat animals,but..vegetables, make me feel bloated stomach pain very unconfortable..it's like allergic reaction,to plants I go100%percent carnivore..no more stomach problems, no more allergies, came from 235 pounds to 210pounds.in 1month and a half..plenty of energy..the drawback i..prefer plants just for respect to animals…

    I was 5foot 2inches and weighed 44kg and my cholesterol was very high so I dont bother listening to the doctor any more. How much skinnier could a person get to reach their stupid goal.

    If veganism is the correct diet then what is it that humans ate exactly a half a million years ago? If the carnivore diet is so unhealthy, how do all meet eating tribes that exist today live? The fact is that you are leaving a lot of information out and giving bogus responses. I have personal experience with a carnivore diet and I have no issues with my glucose levels. My blood pressure is remarkably lower since I began this lifestyle. His high glucose levels is simply explained because he is consuming more protein for muscle building and not enough fat. Carbohydrates increases insulin. Insulin is a fat storing hormone. If you have a carbohydrate diet and low fat, your body will store that fat rather than using it and use the carbohydrates eventually you'll become fat. I tried the vegan diet for a month and a half and I was very sick and my health conditions exponentially increased. The cholesterol is not an issue either and that is backed up by the American heart association that now dismisses cholesterol as the issue. Triglycerides are the primary issue.

    I’ve been on Carnivore for 2 months and Fasting Glucose dropped from 116 to 78. This is a common result on Carnivore. I’m sure Sean Baker is more strict than I am so I wonder how he had a Fasting Glucose > 100? Just seems weird. I’ve also lost 22.5 pounds, significantly reduced inflammation I’ve had for years. I’m also way more alert all day and never get sleepy during the day or after I eat. I’m 62 and feel better that I have in more than 25 years. I was miserable. It’s been a remarkable transformation for me and getting better week by week. I’m just one guy but I was shocked, amazed, and thankful I tried it. It seemed radical but I was at the end of my rope, and I hate even saying it but I was sick of being alive. It’s worth trying if you feel crappy and think you’ve tried everything. I don’t eat ANYTHING from a grocery store that’s packaged or processed except Beef, Chicken, Fish, Pork, & Cheese. No seed oils. Nothing in a box, etc. Good luck everyone. šŸ™

    I felt like cramp on a vegan diet. Pretty sure that is what death's door feels like. The more meat and fat I eat the more I feel amazing. No prep work, but cooking, and no calorie counting. My body just does what it's supposed to do. I would say try both and see which is best for you.

    That is lies, and the test people are doing are from the point of people eating carbs and meat. There was a study done called the Randall cycle and explains this as being worst than so one or the other.
    The big point of carnivore is finding out what is good for you and what isn’t. The thing all of you have forgotten is a carnivore does have all the nutrients you need. I one place but a vegan diet you need so many different foods that you can’t get in many places.
    If you want to eat vegetables that’s fine but if you want to find out what truly makes you healthy or not eat meat for a few weeks if not more, add in the food you want and see how you feel then continue. But I would recommend not to get your insulin levels up.
    Just saying I was open to becoming vegan but stomach problems don’t allow that and I love meat too. But I don’t get these stomach problems only eating meat. Unfortunately I can’t eat enough meat that I keep on losing fat even though I’m eating fatty meat. Dam that’s a problem.

    So I’ve been back and forth on carnivore to vegan and back again. I’ve got type 2 diabetes with my last A1C at 6.7, not too bad but can be improved. If I start a vegan diet, how long does it take to lower my cholesterol and reduce fat in my cells so that glucose can be utilized ? Thank you.

    LDL alone is not sufficient to predict mortality or health problems. The trigleceride to HDL ratio is the gold standard. Talk to cardiologists not vegans about this,

    Another vegan who doesn't understand cholesterol…There are 7 subtypes of LDL, 5 of which are "bad", and 2 of which are healthy. Any information about cholesterol (including your standard blood test) that doesn't take this into account is virtually useless.
