I would've used the water that the cashews were soaked in since it's already cashew flavored.
What is the purpose of soaking the cashews for at least 30mins? How would skipping the soskimg step affect the sauce?

I am always worry about how much the cream left in this kind of deep blenders so I have never use it even I have one. But the low speed blender really can not get the job done so well.

For how long do you let the Vitamix blend this? I think the video skips over most of the blending time. Does it get warm or hot during blending?
Is it possible to substitute the cashew nuts with any other type of nuts? My daughter is extremely allergic to cashews/pistachios so I don't even keep them in my house…
