Italy to Ban Vegan Diet for Kids?

I just wanna say this is a PROPOSAL by a single member of the right wig party. Nobody is really thinking about jailing people on the basis of their diet for god's sake. It's like a proposal by Farage or Trump, nobody will allow this law to pass. The major of Turin has been openly promoting the vegan diet. So please, don't take this news as gospel.

I tried feeding my child healthy and he sneaked off, stole food and got friends to bring him cases of cookies. he gained 250lbs in 3 years he weighs 350 at 14. I put locks on all fridges and freezers. any suggestions dear.. 🙁 thanks

hot topic! unfortunately there are government intervention that hurts family's and children everyday. hard being a parent and wanting to do what is best for them. I think the decision on diet should be left in the parents hand but I also think that doctors and parents should be educated on risks and benefits. if the child is malnourished because the parent is in educated they need to be educated… if it is because they are starving their kid for some other reason that would be another issue. There are many things my daughter doesn't eat because it causes behavior reactions. (gluten, dyes, salicylate foods also it seems) sometimes very severe. if she was a vegan… she would be malnourished because there are many foods she won't eat or can't eat. Every child is different. Every family is different. Every doctor is different. I am a firm believer of following your gut parenting…. even if I look crazy… at least my kid has a chance to be less crazy. 😃
