Lucky uh for having a good relationship with your grandma, my grandma hated me till death bcz i m a girl instead of a boy she wanted
Beautifully spoken and very recognizable π
A child born in a country with immigrant parents is the first generation. The parents are immigrants not the first generation. The grandchildren of the immigrants are second generation. I am a second generation Italian. My grandparents were born in Italy so they were immigrants. They became citizens but were still immigrants. My mother was born here so she's first generation (first generation born in this country). Don't know why so many people confuse this and insist on calling immigrants the first generation. They weren't born here.
Uncle rojer rewiw this

Who discriminate the immigrants the most?! Their kids.
She did love you with all her heart but honestly why keep making if for you if she knew you hated it as a child? No disrespect just an honest question
What a beautiful story!
Aaaawww i β€ your stories ππΌπ€ thank you
Brb gonna go cryπ
Food really is the love language so many women speak. Not by choice, itβs all that is left for us after a lifetime of being tough as nails just to survive. It seems your lovely Grandma spoke it fluently. Great video
So wholesome π
Are you a chef? Your knife skills are niccccce
I haven't seen your channel in a while and I know this isn't related at all to the video but I just wanna say that your muscles are looking so great since the last time I watched your content and I have reason to believe you will take this as a compliment since transforming your body has been a huge goal for you.
Keep doing what you're doing because your looking so much fitter but also happier and this is especially inspiring to me as someone also on a weightless journey. There is a huge difference in one creator telling their fan base they can do it and another showing their fan base its possible
Always thanks for making this β€οΈπ«ΆπΌ
You say American soil I say stolen land

Your other video about your grandma made me cry.
aw omg
Iβve always been jealous of people that were close with their grandparents, all of mine live in Wyoming (a different state than me) and are very conservative, whilst I am quite gay in a very visual wayβ¦ π π₯²π³οΈβπ

μΉΌκ΅μ is one of my favorite meals. Itβs so comforting.
I wasn't ready to cry man
I love your content
Iβm reading your cookbook and wondering if you show this exact recipe. Then you show up on a search. I love reading and also hearing about your heritage. Thank you for sharing the loveβ€.
All my generations have been the original, girl itβs a struggle everyday for me too
I remember making kalgooksoo with my grandma almost every weekend.
Ok so your the first American ? I donβt think you can be born and live in Korea then move and suddenly become American now how it works π
Well, you were a child. There is nothing dramatic or sad to this. You were young and ignorant. That's normal. That's what being a child is all about. Pretty sure your gran understood that.
;_; <3
This made me cry.. i miss my ν λ¨Έλ so much
