My sushi place has, vegan tuna, shrimp, and all kind of fun sushi. They experiment with tomato, mushrooms and different vegetables to make faux fish. It’s the best vegan sushi I’ve ever tried and the biggest menu I’ve ever seen. So many creative options. I take ever non-vegan there so they can experience it and they always love it 😂
Mushrooms tempura rolls, yam rolls, avocado cucumber rolls, miso soup, seaweed salad and crispy tofu. Depending on the restaurant I have to check that the tempura is vegan and ask for no mayo.
That spinach looks amazing. I looove the seaweed salad. I make my own sushi with a sushi bazooka…it's sooo freaking easy!! Have you tried the nasoya wonton wrappers?? They are sOoooO freaking delicious…like I just will slurp those wrappers …I made a tofu ricotta "ravioli" but honestly the wrappers themselves were the main star of the show, and more suitable for Asian applications. Haven't tried yet but you can make wontons with tvp and ginger, garlic, edamame, cabbage, etc. Search online for a good recipe, if desired
Do you ask them to like…,clean the knives?? I'm so weird about cross contamination. I'm sorry if that makes you think of something else… veganism and eating out is hard enough
I really like the vege rolls with heaps of avocado, seaweed salad, and vegtable tempura! Its a little easier being vegetarian and not vegan, but mostly the same stuff you get !
Yes! Vegan sushi is amazing. Even if the fish aspect is big for you, there are good crab meat alternatives which take the care for me. Personally I just love California rolls lol, and sweet potato tempura rolls are SO GOOD.

my problem as a vegan is i’m, one, allergic to seafood… and two, i HATE avacados
I’m a vegetarian who also LOVES sushi and I feel so happy knowing there is a vegan who likes it too ☺️
My nearest sushi buffet restaurant has edamame! I was thrilled, since is my favourite bean and it has a lot of protein! Greetings from Portugal!

love veggie sushi❤
If a place has tempura tofu rolls I'm happy. Bean curd with seaweed is another absolute must.
