Can i use normal paprika powder instead of smoked paprika in that last sauce?? Also how to add garlic and onion if u dont have powders?

The southwestern dressing was so good once I made a few changes to suit my taste. I eliminated the smoked paprika because no matter how much I reduce it I found it overpowering. Instead, I added 1/4 teaspoon chipotle powder. I reduce the water down to 1/3 cup and add 2 tablespoons of lime juice.

I cannot tell you how THRILLED I am to find your channel. I've been oscillating between veganism and vegetarianism for the last 10 yrs, but this year I've committed to shifting completely to veganism. I'm trying to stay away from all the pre-packaged faux products and stick with whole foods after bloodwork showed my cholesterol and weight creeping up. I'm very active so that was a shocker to me! Once again proving that exercise makes up only 20% of your weight loss goals, the remaining 80% is all about what you put in your mouth! And leaving oil out of my cooking has been a complete game-changer, your demo of the calories in oil really hit home! I never thought I could cook without oil but your recipes have proven me wrong. Thank you so much for these fantastic recipes, I'm rushing out now to make the last one…they all sound great but I'll start with one at a time! P.S. I love your curly hair, I have curls too…one day to a video on how you keep them so perfect! 🙂 P.S.S. I just saw your link to the CGM products you use…thank you!! Have you ever tried LUS??? I made the southwest dressing/sauce today, changing just a few things. I used lemon juice as well as ACV, no maple syrup and no onion powder. I ate it over chopped raw yellow peppers, tomatoes and arugola, with oat pasta. I was delicious. Too delicious. Now I'm thinking of how good it would be with sauteed mushrooms and onions on pasta or potatoes. On potatoes alone. On a green salad. Thank you, this is a keeper!
