    Hey Tory, "Wicked Prepared" – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybf7A58r6ms – has just done a video about their chickens and the problems with feed. She uses this lot for her pet feed supplies – Azure Standard – saying they are good value (it wont let be post the link) and are an online source. Any good for you ? 🦆🦆🐓🐓

    My husband is terrible at portions…maybe you wouldn't call it portions…I'm not sure. But when he cooks….we could have everyone in the comments over for dinner and have plenty😂😂😂 he never really cooked…till he got out of the Army then he went straight to the fire department…..and suddenly you have to rotate cooking days. So he started out cooking for 10-15 grown men and did that for 25 years….he's stuck!! I've trying to get him to change his ways…lol…but we pack alot of freezer meals when he cooks. 😂 I think your dinner looks good and simple. My family could eat cornbread everymeal.
    Do ya'll have meijer out there?? They had packs of blackberries for $1. I think the sale ended yesterday. They are so sweet and big berries. We bought extra to freeze. I feel like its higher priced on a lot of things…but their sales are awesome.

    Portion sizes are way out of control in the western world. This isn't helped by the large size of dinner plates, I use side plates. The crazy thing is they are the same size as my Grandmas dinner plates. I love pulses and eat them most days. I think I'll have them today with bread, delicious. Have a wonderful weekend 💞

    I eat potatoes or rice and veggies for breakfast almost everyday. Occasionally I'll go through an oatmeal phase but I agree that breakfast food is just whatever you eat for breakfast. Thanks for the videos!

    I understand why you don't want to have to write out every recipe, especially since you've 'accumulated some children over the years' 🤣 but I was hoping to get the recipe for your goulash please.
    It's something I've never made before as it isn't as common in Australia but if you have a vegan version of that I'd be very grateful please. Thanks 🤗

    All great ideas! I make goulash with lentils all the time and we love it. My problem is that I make to much food and I hate wasting leftovers, because it is me and my man eating the same things for days. I do freeze some meals, but some are not the best being frozen and then reheated. Can you give me suggestions on how to make several meals and, but also not the same. Thanks

    Hi Tory, great bargains at Target. The recipes look delicious as always. I agree with portion distortions. I can make a large pot of lentil soup and get 5 portions for the week and 5 portions to freeze. My grocery store had a few great deals this month. A 5 lb. Bag of russets was 1.88. Broccoli crowns were .88 a pound. I do look for bargains. I spent $16.97 for the week. I will use pantry and freezer as well. I appreciate your recipes. Much love to you and your family. ❤️😊

Rice is a world wide staple that can provide a good source of inexpensive carbs when combined with lots of veg and small amounts of protein.
