I have end stage renal disease. My kidneys don't work. I'm on dialysis. Have been for 5 years, vegan for 1. Nothing to do with health. It's the 'Rights' thing to do. Thank you both so much.
Do a search on youtube for "Goaty Garth Gutted Gloriously !!!"😘
"carnivore is teh stoopid" lmao well argued, girth.
btw, that "muscle" you're gaining looks awfully jiggly. maybe it's just the camera angle, eh? 🤣🤣
Happy to have a respectful chat with any vegan who thinks they cause less pain and suffering and death to sentient beings than myself, as a meat eater.
1:37:44 I LOVE this quote!!!!
52:13 Dr. Kim Williams talks about that quote on a Rich Roll podcast. He definitely said it!
Hay alguna manera de ver sus videos traducidos al idioma español?gracias
There's a statue of a Buddha in your room. Vegetarianism is your religion. You lost objectivity.
Great interview, as always, with Dr. Davis!
I've done a lot of research and it's pretty obvious that substantial meat intake is bad for our health, but I haven't really been able to determine if a 5% of calories coming from animal sources is good or bad. If anything fish seems protective in some studies, but so does algae in others.
❤ Dr. Garth Davis makes a lot of sense….I would love to hear more from him on his plant based diet….
Dr. Garth Davis is a hero! If people don't listen to all his knowledge and wisdom, no problem. He still saves them on the operation table 🙂
Dead doctors don't lie.
I'm not a vegan but I love listening to Dr. Davis talk. Definitely has learned me away from carnism.
What a great interview. Dr Davis seem a truly honest and humble man.
My favourite 10 seconds. We have a food industry who does not care about health, and a health industry who does not care about food. Absolutly invaluble
BRAVO!!! EXCELLENT INTERVIEW!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY!!!
mmmm i loooove me a good steak. <3
Dr Davis non viene a Milano per qualche seminario? sarebbe interessante 😊
I’m no expert. I’m only 1 week into keto-vore and I can’t believe how “not terrible” I feel from eating bacon & eggs.
I walked away from ADHD meds , right away, that I couldn’t function without for years. My ability to “adult” diminished over the years though I’m a “high performer” at work. I was accepting all these horrible possibilities for mental illness not too long ago. I’ve already been diagnosed with MDD and GAD. Anxiety would get so bad, I couldn’t order my own food, at certain points in life.
Now anxiety is a non issue. Painful swelling in my legs has gone down by 90% and my socks aren’t cutting into my ankles anymore.
This is the first week in decades that I didn’t get wiped out by, at least, one major headache that cancels the rest of my day. I’ve just learned to eat Excedrine like candy and live with them, over the years.
GERD just doesn’t exist anymore.
My ability to wake up easily, feel overall content, motivated, & focused is literally astounding.
I’m not too sure on the dairy yet. I want to handle it but I do get ⛽️ immediately after heavy whipping cream in my coffee.
I had my 1st colonoscopy at 29 and was drinking miralax daily ever since that day, to stop the chronic constipation from ruining my entire life. So far, I’ve taken miralax once this past week.
My husband was raving about the changes he noticed in me, to my mom, only about 5 days into this. There’s no way to call all these benefits “a placebo” effect when I wasn’t even sold on it in the first place. I was just desperate to not feel like crap anymore.
Mentally and physically, I was deteriorating, fast. It all started with a juice fast and going raw til dinner. I couldn’t imagine feeling so awful, bloated, swelled, in pain, etc from fruits and veggies. So no, everybody doesn’t get better on a plant based diet. I thought I was going crazy.
I asked google if they can make you sick? (Cuz that’s surely happening to me) and I went down the rabbit hole of oxalates, insoluble fiber, and carnivore stories.
I know every body is different. Mine just so happens to hate carbs and sugar (even tho my taste buds sure love them). Now, I’m terrified to ever go back to feeling like I did a week ago. How can this be “bad” or “unhealthy” if it’s giving me so much relief in so many areas?
I don’t know… but I’m surely sticking with it until I find more answers.
Doctor Barry and his wife Neisha are the opposite of the Carnovire picture painted here. They’re not militant or anti veggies. They just call it the “proper human diet” because somehow, Neisha was able to conceive (after needing IVF), put Hashimotos into remission, and “cure” mental health issues. I don’t know a single carnivore or Ketovore that doesn’t have a long list of ailments that have been healed from dropping the carbs and sugars.
Still, I tend to stay away from anyone on the fringes that seems to have a militant, stank ass spirit surrounding their attitude. 🤷🏼♀️
Hospitals, doctors offices and schools should be places where good nutrition is taught and provided not places that contribute to disease and obesity. It is crazy the hospitals are feeding people the very food that caused the heart disease, high blood pressure or cancer that they are treating. Every person in the hospital should receive some nutrition education before being released. Every doctor visit should be an opportunity to educate patients about how food choices impacts their health outcomes. The fact that doctors do not get nutrition training as part of their training makes no sense. Medicare and Medicaid should require nutrition education as part of patient care. Focus should be on food choices. Fasting should be investigated as a treatment for disease.
The general over all health of people has declined the last few decades.
Even children today have signs of artery disease. Fast foods and sugary drinks have long term consequences.
There is an obesity epidemic today where over 60% of the population is overweight or obese.
What is common today and "NORMAL" is not healthy. The average person today is not healthy and is taking medications.
Heart attacks were once only common in people over 65. Today people in their 40 are having heart attacks.
Add more plants and vegetables to your diet and less junk and overly processed foods. Being thin is a sign of good health. Being over weight or obese is a sign of bad health. Poor diet, lack of exercise and obesity are contributing to high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
You are what you eat. Your diet impacts your health.
Lower stress, reduce obesity and more exercise are key to a healthy life.
Obesity in children and adults is rising across the world.
Fast food and sugary drinks are contributing to the problem of poor health and obesity.
Eat a healthy plant based diet and exercise regularly.
Reduce or ELIMINATE cows milk, eggs, cheese and meat. Eat more salad greens, beans, fruit and vegetables. Eliminate fast food, snacks like cookies, cakes, chips, and sugary drinks and juices.
Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly.
Regular exercise will help you sleep better. Yoga is a great stress reducer.
Obesity is all too common today. Get off the couch. Get off the phone, ipad or video game.
A variety of stretching and other exercises help with increased mobility.
Ride to work, ride to school, ride for fun.
Every city should be a bicycle city.
Speak up for bicycles in your community
People should find their own comfort zone in eating what is simply healthy for them! Yes we mustn’t go overboard either way! And no matter what the choice don’t forget to Pray!❤
Love Dr. Garth.
This 'carnivore is dumb' argument is so convincing that I'm definitely going to give it a go 🙂
Groeten uit Holland .,❤️
There are so many people falling victim to hearts issues of late, particularly young people. While many blame the shot, and there is some evidence to suggest an issue there, I am wondering if it’s because so many are eating such meat heavy diets and have been since the pandemic started?
Why don't you make a comparison of anatomy between carnivores, herbivores animals and man?
It is so difficult in this day and age to figure out what is really good for us and especially what actually was. Every Dr. says something different, Vegan, Carnivore, Omnivore, Vegetarian…. etc. it almost drives me crazy, everyone says something different and talks bad about each other. I hope I find out someday what is good for me. So whar now, vegy, fruits, dairy, mear…. or maybe buggs..? witch study we can trust?`please answer..!
Feeling superior while grazing like sheep and cows?
Great interview, the whole story of fibre.
How we change our micro biome ,ext . Would show the so misguided idea of carnivoure, will phase out once the truth about fibre goes viral!
I find the blanket statement that 'Carnivorism is Dumb' to be arrogant bordering on insulting. Has Dr. Davis addressed the traditional diet of the Inuit? How does one eat vegan when you live at the Arctic Circle? These people have survived without eating plants, in a harsh environment, and without the access to modern medicine, so there must be something to be said for eating animal foods. Am I missing something here? There must be more to the equation of human survival than 'just eating this' or 'just eating that'.
Everyone body is different, find what works for U!
Meat and fat are a necessity. Going vegan always works in the beginning because you're eliminating the toxic foods like chips, fried food, etc
Wow! Do an interview with Dr.Shawn Baker, Dr Anthony Chaffe, Dr Georgia Ede, Dr Elizabeth Bright, Dr Bosworth, Dr Kiltz,, Dr Thomas Seyfried, Dr Ken Berry and the list of doctors goes on and on…who absolutely strongly recommend an animal based/carnivore diet to heal many many modern human illnesses. Better yet, bring them on to discuss this with this person.
