However I haven't had any vegan cheese that has been anywhere near "eat-able" yet, seriously it is just so baddd, bad to the bone. Had multiple ones that literally tasted like rubber.
i definatly recommend when making spaghetti look at the brand Yves and get the vegan ground round (its like hamburger but plant based lol). you could also crumble up some seasoned tofu, or cook it in the oven. vegan snacks honestly i lvoe making smoothies, amd snacking on vegetables and fruits.
I've found vegan ingredients taste better when they're added into something else.
Also, that butter is amazing. I get it all the time.
Follow Your Heart and GoVeggie (the one you bought) are the best cheese alternatives I've found. I'm very picky and need alternatives that taste as similar to the real thing as possible.

Sam, a lot of vegan cheeses taste better melted. 🥰🥰🥰 Also try around and see what you like. I personally only like the violife block original flavour and I dont like fake cheddars.
Here are some of my favourite meals; cucumber sushi ( I have chia seeds and peanut sauce for protein ), grilled cheese with violife block, chilli ( I add lots of beans and lentils and use brown rice ), completely homemade pizza. Atm I really like eating pasta with either broccoli or a cheese tomato sauce. I use pasta made from peas for protein.
I also bake a lot!! I follow loving it vegan recipes a lot because everything turns out favourite. I like to make scones, cakes ( coffee and carrot, still looking for a good chocolate cake recipe ) and cookies, my recipe is equal parts (BY WEIGHT) oats, fake butter, flour and sugar and I add chocolate chips and syrup as desired. I also love vegan gummies and soda.

I cooked a new meal yesterday and I literally did not know how things worked. Fresh Garlic was alien to me. I’m pretty sure I burned it all, tbh I don’t know. It digested so 🤷🏼♀️

Proper way to cook noodles: (Italian way / how I was taught)
1. Put salt in the bottom of the pan not alot maybe three pinches
2. Let it boil and put your noodles in
3. After you put the noodles in you put either a bit of oil or butter in the water( be care full with oil since it's flammable)
4. Cook on 7 for 10 minutes and then take one noodle out and throw it on the wall if it sticks it's done if not put in for another 5 mins
Field Roast Mini Corn Dogs are so good for an indulgence. Dr. Praegers has healthy chicken nugs. Nada Moo ice cream. Myokos Slices make a mean grilled cheese. Little Northern Bakehouse has great bread. Daiya cheese blocks (not shreds) and Daiya pizza is good. And also making huge salads to last you days is great for getting greens and nutrients in every day and good for binge eating since eating it is like a marathon. Just some things I do! I’ve been vegan almost 5 years and also I always still crave cheese, I know I wouldn’t enjoy eating it now but my body still wants it.

The GoVeggie cheese actually is good. She didn’t even really try it before she made up her mind about it. I have a bad dairy allergy and it sucks when people make fun of the food you have to eat so you don’t get sick. I really enjoy her channel so I’m not trying to hate on her but that part just really sucked. It doesn’t feel great when people make us feel like we’re “missing out” because we have an allergy and can’t eat certain foods. Sam is great but that stung. In every other way she is down to earth and relatable unlike a lot of other youtubers.
Next time you do the vegan thing id love to help
cooking is a learning curve, ive been vegan for 5 years and i make so really awesome vegan dishes, took me about a year of cooking every day to learn and get to the point where i excel at it 🙂 just like everything else takes time, depends if you want to stick with it or not.
