I'm wondering why you didn't use Scotch Bonnet in the Jamaican Patties? I use them in mine, I fry it up with some courgette, mushrooms and onions comes out delicious. Next time I make Jamician Patties I will add a few dates as you did. Nice recipes tho. Stay blessed.
